Just recovering from my second floor show at lunch time. New to this client so the floor show is still a novelty to me. As soon as the manager realised I had asked for a receipt, he went outside to where the cleaner was having a fag and called her in. Floor was soon spotlessly clean around me, I was asked if everything was ok with my meal, windows near me were cleaned, my tray was taken from me and I got a cheery goodbye from the cleaner!

I've never had a floor show. I was really expecting one when I asked for a receipt and they had to use another till to print it but alas, no show. They even locked the toilets up with a chain and padlock so no one could use them so I know I wasn't clocked.

I think had the restaurant been in the centre of town, the staff would have been too busy serving to notice or care. This was a quieter one, so I think I stood out by asking for receipt. Plus the manager was behind the counter too so I think this is an influencing factor.

Regarding receipts, I would have assumed that most eating places got quite a few people wanting receipts so they could claim on their work expenses? It sounds like this is not the case, though!

Anyway, I have my first GAP drive-through assignment tomorrow and was intending to just pay by debit card as I normally would, but would it be better to pay with cash???

I don't do the fast food places because the timings sound too stressful and I don't like burgers. My husband uses them when he is travelling on business. He could easily guise as a MS because he always eats in and , as far as I know , is on his own and asks for a receipt. He says he has never noticed the floor show but he will watch out for it in future and report back :rotfl:

You don't get a floor show unless you are actually on assignment. They know when you're coming. I dont know how, but they must get a tip off. They also know what Mser will order. So unless you visit on the right day, the right timeframe, order the right meal, are on your own and ask for receipt, then there's unfortunately no floor show.

I have done my first Gap job burgers however can anybody enlighten me as to where KSS is on the receipt as it was asked in the questionnaire. Also it has gone to pending will I be sacked before I even start:eek:

Is anyone else sitting patiently waiting for their local pizza? ive got all 3 towns surrounding the one where i live showing but still not mine! will have to get out soon as supposed to be doing a coffee visit!
