Just noticed the pizzas are walk in takeaway this time, so you can chose whichever store you want (or multiples if you're lovin the food!)

I've always paid by card at the burger place drive thru Angelfeather and never had a problem.

I popped on RE and noticed the upload of pizza's was going to ignore then thought I'd have a read of the assignment notes.. walk in's, wonderful as none deliver in my area... they flew off the screen.. 33 down to 11.. just the old faithful's left.. obviously no ms'ers in that area...!

Hello...if anyone can still see all the pizza jobs on RE can you pm me if there is one showing for Crystal Palace? I signed up for the wrong one by mistake...don't want to release it in case I then end up with nothing, cos if I can't get my local I'll go and do this other one! But if my local is available I might ring RE to see if I can switch....
    thanks!

None for CP that I can see.. sorry....

  • You star Miss Qwerty! I haven't bothered with the RE pizzas as they don't deliver to my town out in the sticks. However, just took a look and grabbed a pizza job which I can collect on my way home from work. Wouldn't have bothered looking if you hadn't alerted us!

I've just received an email inviting me to a focus group to be held locally by GAP to discuss their burger client. There will be representatives from the client present but then they will leave the session and we will be able to air our thoughts and feelings on them and the overall process of completing assignments for them (including reporting, are we identified as MSers etc.)! GAP would also like to know how they compare to other MS companies and receive feedback on their service so it should be an interesting session...
Of course I've accepted as I'd like to air my thoughts on this client and be able to express my concerns. ;)
Has anyone else ever attended one of these groups?
Normally I'd be at work and be unable to attend but it's the day after my return from Cyprus (if I ever get there with erupting volcano's!).
Is it wrong that I'm quite looking forward to it ha ha?! :D

Thanks too MQ as I also dismissed the pizza jobs as none deliver near me. Picked one up and that's dinner sorted for one night. :j

I think its a great idea to give them feedback - I personally find their forms easy to complete and with the exception of the burger client have never had any queries and that query was due to slow timings so were trying to discredit! I just wish they had more clients I quite like their jobs since they are straightforward and paperwork is easy.:)

I went to one about 6 months ago. Very interesting! I definitely recommend going if you get invited. You can read my write up here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=26963379 :)

Can we send you a long list of niggles and points to bring up at the meeting. I'll start it off, if everyone wants to have a go just add to this list. Lets see how long we can get it.

    1. When submitting the report why does it always say "Your service time seems to have been longer/shorter than expected - please explain" - or something along those lines; no matter how long your service time was. I have done over 50 of these reports and it always comes up.

Is anyone here doing the 7 day project? If so, just wondered how long they took you today?

If you don't know what I am talking about please don't ask cos I can't say!:D
I was offered it, but couldn't do today or tomorrow, DAMIT!! I'm guessing it took you a while?

  • Thanks, guys - I shall use my debit card as originally intended, then, and just make sure I get the right sort of receipt. :-)
