I've made a mess up of rescheduling an assignment with GAP. I'm carrying out the chicken assignment today but have rescheduled it to tomorrow by mistake (don't ask how as I don't know!) I've emailed them to ask them if they can change the date to today to allow me to input the results into WebExpress but not sure if they'll do this for me.
Has anyone else ever done something like this?:o I'm just trying to make myself feel better now!

Oh dear! The problem is it IS tomorrow in Austrailia now so Im not sure that it can be changed :(

I have had similar situations, but not of my own doing. Once, Gap assigned a job to me for the wrong date - i.e. the day after I had I agreed to do it on (but the store would have been closed that day, anyway). They just don't respond to emails, which drives me mad. In the end, I just emailed them and said I was not going to go ahead with it unless they called me back before a certain time. They phoned me, full of apologies.

On another occasion, they assigned it for the wrong time frame. I did the job anyway, put in incorrect times in the report, so that the report would sumbit, then just put the correct times in the comments box (mentioning the name of the allocator).

You could email, giving them an ultimatum: get back to me or I will go ahead with the job anyway. Do the job and then submit with the wrong date (explain in comments box and refer to your communication with them). It's a bit of a risk.

P.S. Just to make you feel better, I did two jobs for Gap last week and submitted reports whilst in the early stages of migraine. Guess what? I transposed the jobs: put in results for each under the wrong assignment numbers. I emailed Gap straight after, explaining. Guess what? I've heard nothing back. I'm waiting for the sack.

Maybe Gap rescheduled it themselves without telling you? Think they have a habit of doing that!

    Hiya CB,

What a nightmare chuck  I could empathise with nearly all those mishaps that I've done my self at some stage or another. Can't you take the reimbursement back for a refund - your not getting paid, so not breaching any rules, unless you've eaten it though :rotfl: don't be returning that :D

Hope your reports go well :)

Uploaded all reports. Should have done them last night but was too knackered. Hee hee, regarding your last remark, I definitely can't get a refund :rotfl:. A hard lesson well learnt I suppose.

At least my pics look a treat now i'm taking them with me beloved 'berry :D. And I'm having no problems with uploading them :T. Plus my ebay purchased all-in-one printer scans a treat so no more blurry pics of receipts and the inevitable email requesting a clearer image :(.

My 'berry and my all-in-one bring me joy. Sad, no?! :D.

Off to watch the footie now :T.

Finally got to experience my first ever floor show today! Was hilarious! I can understand what some of you guys mean now! Soon after I asked for a receipt, it was all action stations! Bins were being emptied, colouring in sheets and crayons were handed out to the kids and even the manager joined in, wandering around the store and even picked up a small piece of paper of the floor. Lol, fantastic!

If thats one of my locals then it has to be either the cinema one or the green supermarket one, I've never received a floor show in the other 3. At a guess from what you've said.... Cinema?

    is fuming!!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

went to store today - was 2hrs as in every dept I had to find someone to speak to. had to find a specific ticketed item (brief just said you need a car to get it home) found it - it was huge! Am going to complain to company as I had to drive home with boot open, baby in car & now have to store it til Monday, try & get it back in the car on my own to return it!

and now I need to spend the afternoon waiting for a delivery & its lovely today!
Grr might have to mow the lawn & tidy out the front to make the most of it!

oh & a bet on the national as well!

Bl00dy hell, i'm not suprised you're peed-off! Leave 'em with a flea in their ear when you complain. They should have stated how large the item would be before they allocated the job.

On the upside I hope your bet comes in .

I'm related to him somewhere along the line on my dad's side by marriage three times removed and with a prevailing wind...alledgedly. I can always appreciate good [STRIKE]thighs[/STRIKE] ball skills. Have to say my OH has a fine pair ;) .........thighs obviously :D
