What'll happen if RE get hold of this policy?? I can just imagine them implementing a fine system: shopper pays RE £5 for each 24 hour delay in reporting (all shoppers required to set up twice monthly direct debit).;)

Actually on the subject of RE and their by 11am 2 days after the visit cut off its a load of rubbish to be honest...

A friend of a friend works for a local electrical shop. I did it on xyz date, the store received the report FOUR WEEKS after the shop!!! And it was submitted to RE on the day of the visit

My internet connection is ropey aswell. Bought a dongle while doing a job the other day.

Not sure if this is a nationwide deal or just the particular shop I was in but t-mobile are doing a dongle for £8.99 (have to buy a £10 top up with it) and then it costs £2 for your first day followed by 30 days free

This apparently is an ongoing offer each month and they have no plans to finish it but won't hold my breath. Will be good while it lasts anyway :D essentially its free mobile browsing for £2/mth.

Plus as the man in the shop advised me "they can't cut you off for going over the 2gb fair usage or impose limits because its PAYG", so technically its unlimited too :D

It sounds like you have done well, mysteryshoppingninja, with that deal!

I have just looked at the T-mobile website. Not such a bargain! :(

The offer is there: £8.99 for the dongle + £10 top-up (£10 cashback on TopCash, by the way). It says the offer is "only in April."

The deal is confusing. It says that you have to buy the £10 top up (obviously). It also says, as above, that you pay £2 for the first day then you get the next 30 days free. But, it goes on to say "At the end of the 30 days, just top up again and only pay for the days you surf." This sounds like the initial £10 top-up expires after a month. Then, it gives the following rates: "£2 a day, £7 a week or £15 a month." [You set your pricing option after purchase] My interpretation is that it will cost £10/month for the first month, then £15/month thereafter.

It is for unlimited browsing [2GB/month/fair usage]. Here is T-mobile's definition:
"What does unlimited browsing mean? Browsing means looking at websites and checking your email, but not watching videos or downloading files. We do have a fair use policy but ours means that you'll always be able to browse the internet. It's only when you go over your fair use amount that, during peak times, you won't be able to download (such as TV and music), stream (live video or music)."

Maybe I can get cheaper PAYG mobile broadband elsewhere. I have to keep my home broadband as well - unless I only want to use the internet from the middle of a field 150m behind my house!

Hmmm this sounds confusing, the man in the shop didn't mention the £10 expiring, in fact the example he used was the £10 would give you browsing for 5 months as you only pay the £2 for the first day each month...

If the credit does expire I'll be taking it back and complaining, his customer service skills were crap!! Normally wouldn't have bought anything but the deal seemed too good not to and my landline access has been a nuisance lately...

Talking to one of my husband's sister last night and told her I was doing a job down her way on Sunday and we'd call in....she only bl00dy works there park time (she's at uni and I knew she had a pt job but didn't know it was there!). My first job with this company too so I've emailed them to tell them what the score is and they can decide. Our surnames's are the same (and quite unusual) so it would stick out like a sore thumb if my name was given to them!

Did a meal out job with hubby last night. The spend limit was £35 to cover two drinks each, a starter (each or to share) and a main course each. Ordered all the required items and the bill came to £34.95 :D
Here I go again on my own....

Snap - to both! I always aim to do my weekly shop on a MS assignment, so there's no way I'll spend over the reimbursement if I'm doing 10 or so other supermarkets in the same week.

You say "some jobs" - do you have any idea of which jobs?

What'll happen if RE get hold of this policy?? I can just imagine them implementing a fine system: shopper pays RE £5 for each 24 hour delay in reporting (all shoppers required to set up twice monthly direct debit).;)

RE - cowboys, I do very little for them munless it's a free lunch. I do have a bed shop today though with them........I stay clear if poss

I did a reimbursement only at a popular sports shop in Manchester. It was on the brief at the top:

    Quote -

Deadline - Your questionnaire must be completed at the latest within
    24h after the
    visit
. Only in this case you will get 100% reimbursed (
    ).
In case you submit your report
after 24h of the visit but within 3
    business days
of the visit date, you will be paid 50% (=half of the
    expense amount with a
    maximum of 15€).
In case your report will be submitted
after 3 business days of the visit
    date,
you will not be paid/ reimbursed.

I wouldn't say 'no' :D. You haven't got something a little 'medicinal' hiding away there too have you? :p.

Hope you've all had a good week. I've had a mare myself. I'm out of pocket already as I've been told I won't be paid or reimb for an expensive-ish job I did. I bought the wrong thing so the report is invalid. Soooo, soooo stupid!. I twice forgot to get photos of the outside of stores and had to go back to the locations. Wasted time there . I forgot my notes on one visit and had to re-print them at an internet cafe... that's more money down the drain. On another assignment I had to pay extra bus fares to complete a visit that was outside the zone covered by my travelcard. Wouldn't have accepted the job if I was aware of this. More expense! Plus got my timings wrong at a fast food visit! Grrr, will have to re-do this one. Finally, I got distracted by a by a young fella chatting me up in a shop (yeah, i still got it :D :rotfl:) and I left without checking half the things I was supposed to! :rotfl:.

All-in-all a carp week :o. Only got 1 job booked for next week which is just as well as I'll properly bu/gger that up too .

About to complete my reports which will no doubt be rejected at the proof-reading stage :(:p.

Anyways, enough of me moaning... enjoy the sun y'all :D.

    Hiya CB,

What a nightmare chuck  I could empathise with nearly all those mishaps that I've done my self at some stage or another. Can't you take the reimbursement back for a refund - your not getting paid, so not breaching any rules, unless you've eaten it though :rotfl: don't be returning that :D

Hope your reports go well :)
