Hi Cuckoo - just came across your diary, sounds like you're making great steps there - well done! I can definitely sympathise with the mood-related spending, both up and down.
Loads of luck with your journey - especially look forward to hearing about your allotment, I love my little garden

Oh by the way, posted my recorded delivery letter for Credit Card Statements today so fingers crossed they send those back quick sharp and not dead on the deadline of 40 days!
Also been offered a weeks work at a freinds Theatre school for the second week of the easter holidays so the money from that'll come in handy - I am getting paid for it - just not sure how much.

Just applied for a loan, I know that was a really silly thing to do.
I was just browsing the site and was looking at loan for people with bad credit and though "Oooooh wouldn't it be nice to pay everything off with one lump sum and then only have 1 debt to worry about!!!!!" and I know, they'll come back and say no and my credit score will have been bashed once again. Or they'll say yes and won't loads of documentation I cant give them because I'm in the middle of changing jobs - all in all, a bit of a lose lose situation.
Never mind, I do silly things like this!

I've been checking out my Mortgage and my fixed rate is due to come to an end in May, and as far as I can work out (if anyone knows how these things work - does it just automatically transfer to the Mortgage companys Standard Variable Rate) my payments should go down by about 90.00 per month. I don't really know how these things work - with regard to still paying what I'm paying now by way of overpayments etc so if anyone can advice me that would be great. But I'm sure I won't be able to get another Mortgage with a good rate because my credit history has been appalling the last 6 months or so.
Also just recieved a nice surprise of an envelope from my nan with 20.00 for me and 20.00 for each of the kids for easter. I'll buy them an egg and give them 5.00 each - and then use the rest for a day out to the fair over easter. (Is that bad - the money will still be going on them - just means they won't take it straight to the local petrol station and spend it on rubbish!) The 20.00 for me will go straight towards debts of course!
Sorted out a few bits to go on freecycle but local site is down tonight - have to remember to post them tomorrow. Hope everyones ok.

Very good at ringing Dr for 'friends' treatment (that's what they call them at my neices' nursery, very PC) Today in N Ireland perscriptions became FREE to everyone forever! Don't think it would be very MS to fly over here to get free stuff though.

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
