it was against Tesco policy to buy things just for the points so he couldn't have a refund anyway if that's why he'd bought them!

    What?!?!?!?!?
That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!!! They put these extra points offers on to entice people to buy the CDs, but then spit their dummy out when people DO!!! It beggars belief!!!

Warrington store has removed the promotion for the 3.00 pound CD's. doubt it was a glitch as I am sure tesco monitor this board. More likely they create a firestorm over a promotion and then reduce it so people are still going in, and relent, buying more expensive CD's. Devious but fair enough; all is fair and love and shop.

Still if it is marked on the SEL - maybe you should ask for DTD!!!!!

Martin (or his people) contacted Tesco asking to clarify about the cheap CDs being in the offer, so they were notified and must then realise they were going to get hit with load of MSE cashing in on these cheap titles.

I'm in a big huff since my order arrived this morning and the kings of leon was out of stock. Wouldn't mind but I was actually looking forward to it!

Going to nip down and have a look at the DVD's, spied the gruffalo earlier so that could be a gift for DS2's birthday. I only want 500points...

PM me if you want and i'll send you the Kings of Leon cd foc. I got in early and i've got more cd's than I know what to do with.

DH is taking them into his work on Tuesday to flog for £1.00 each or give them away.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Thank you, thats very kind! I'll go into the store and have a look first (have a feeling that maybe they weren't really out of stock) and get back to you :D

Spose, if all else fails, ebay will be full of cheap CD's in the next few weeks!

To add to my previous point I also had a similar situation from monday's buy which I seem uncertain how to deal with. I bought the following titles:

Forever Love cd (known included at that time)
Jackson 5: Best of\greatest hits (is\was included at the time and still is?)
Grandpa In My Pocket dvd (still listed as included)
Susan Boyle dvd (not the cd but part of the album chart monday, not marked now but was at the time)

The store goes on how the situation was today. The first 3 they cant dispute as either they knew was or still is part of the is offer this afternoon. The main point is the Susan Boyle (£3) dvd. Both me and the gf swear whilst a dvd it was with the music albums on monday when bought and had the 500 bonus points tag. The store now claim otherwise as they have to go on what they see now. Any advice as would'nt mind getting the other 500 points back that I think we are owed?.
