    Morning lovelies :D

Hope everyone is well. You're making me jealous with all this sunshine talk!! I've a really busy week work wise as big office moves to shiney new office but being that I work from home (and others) we're sort of holding the fort work wise in meanwhile whilst they all get sorted - manic!

True, i'll try and look on OU site as don't have a degree, hmmm this could work really well as now working from home all the time it'll give me something to focus on other than work. I may even see if there are any courses I can do through work, although think they may well cut back on things soon!!

Happy must be hard to motivate yourself to get up when you know you only have a day with back pain to look forward too :-( - is it getting any better my love?

Anyhow sent OH off on his way this morning, he and his brother are climbing down at Portland - i'm SO jealous as I love climbing and it's fab down there....grrrr! I'm trying to find a girly friend to get interested in it so that i'm not just doing it with OH, must get on and do that.

Anyway enough wafflings from me, must get on! Enjoy the sunshine ladies :)

    Hey girlies.....I'm back!!

Didn't mean to go AWOL for quite so long!!

How are we?? Good I hope?

I went and got all disillusioned and fell off the wagon (bad True) but I'm climbing back on now!

Will be taking a deep breath and facing the music and trying to keep the bloody lightbulb burning this time lol!

Off to the beach with DS because it's gorgeous down here today, will be back to catch up and do a proper re-evaluation of things later xxx

The time out has been good - time to think about stuff and work out where I need to be/go from here.

It was PayPlan, until they started trying to flog me various insurances that would have taken over half of my monthly repayment - so I've gone back to doing it myself. Its much more flexible, plus I have it structured so that each debt has X amount paid to it as a regular sum and then I pay a bit extra as and when I can. Its far less stressful that trying to find the £250 that PayPlan were adamant we had surplus (I worked out we had about £63)!!

So anyway, I have a week off work so will be trying to get the smell of fish and chips out of my hair and will then have another squizz through the budget and see if I can squeeze it any!

Happy - your signature looks brilliant, you're doing so well! Hows your back? Are you back at work yet?

Beach was PACKED!! So many tourists down here this time of year. I actually love it because it saves me tons of money due to not being able to get out of my house lol! Got some fantastic pictures though.

Which brings me onto my new love - my camera! I've finally got an idea of where and what I want to be. I love taking photos of everything, anything and I think this is what I want to do with my life! Anyway, I've enrolled on an evening course starting in September which will teach me the little bits of technique that I need to learn to be able to start selling some of my work. Ultimately, I want to get into weddings :) I love weddings lol!

  • Hi True, glad you had such a nice day, its always refreshing getting out and about me and oh for the first time this evening will be doing a gratitude walk :p

Im very pleased with my signiture but when i look at the siggy in april 09 ive not done or made the changes i wanted to.... i must have been on a dream boat at that time re getting debt free lol ..... but id still like to have a good old bash at it ... it just seems at the moment things have run away with me ... im doing more to the house rather than using surplus to pay off debts.. this month i have increased the amount i pay my egg loan ... this is because i needed to feel like i was making a difference with things... if i look at spare money i either find diy things to do or it is used up or junk....

I have to say after my holiday i really felt like my mood was linked to mse i was much more happy and upbeat away from mse but then the mind does wander whilst away its very hard to find a happy balance of things :o I do like mse i have decided to ease away from finding new things to read and just looking at the diaries i have subscribed to and my own diary.....

I have had some terrible weeks with finances stuff cropping up and then feeling like the holiday was a waste because as soon as we touched down it seemed like poo was been dropped from a great height :rotfl:

Photography is a nice little hobby ive never been intrested myself but im sure when you have the eye for a good pic you can really make some wonderful pieces...... good luck.... i fancied doing a language course not for homework or sorts just for my own enjoyment its useful to know a different lingo ... i figured spanish or french or neither lol i have wonderful ideas lol but commiting to them is a different kettle of fish hehe ....

Im avoiding the ironing thats naughty of me !! :o
    xx

LOL ironing was invented to be ignored :D

You're so right about getting the balance right with reading new stuff and joining new challenges etc etc it seems never ending. That said, I'm looking forward to the next 100 days challenge because I really want to do it and get one of the three overdrafts cleared!

A language is a great idea, I've always fancied Italian for some reason (nothing to do with the wine or the men obviously :rotfl:) I seem to take thousands of pictures which are ok but then I'll get one absolutely dead on and the feeling I get is amazing!

I think putting money towards the DIY and the house is a good idea though hun, I mean its always better to be happy with your home and surroundings because it has a knock on effect to every other part of your life or I think so anyway :)

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow xxx
