DH has taken my car over to FIL to have another look at the exhaust which has been threatening to come off again, bl**dy thing. Think I'll just get it patched up and then flog the damn thing its starting to bug me now. Plus I need to chase my insurance company, when I took my policy out it was with £50 cashback and I haven't had it yet...mmm...I could do with £50 right now!

Finally had chance to sit down with DH and go through the PayPlan stuff with him, fortunately he's on side and happy to go with it which is a blessing! We've decided to do a shuffle with all our direct debits and salary payments so they are all coming from the same place rather from two different accounts as we're running it at the moment!! DH is much better with money than I am, he has the potential to be stingy too which is something I jsut don't possess so he will be assuming the position of financial controller from payday (MONDAY :j:j:j) very happy True

Will be tackling Mount Washmore this weekend while DS watches the football - I'm hopefully not working until 4pm tomorrow which is great because I'm knackered and I want to catch some sunshine while its still here!!

Must be the day for monetary demands - DH has just been asked to be his friends best man (which is BRILLIANT because DH is very shy) but the wedding is in Wales in a month....we'd already decided that he was going to go on his own because I can't get the time off work so DH was going to drive up and back in the day but the best man thing kinda changes that....plus its in deepest, darkest Wales where Travelodges and Premier Inn's don't dare to encroach...*double sob*

Ahhh true great on oh taking charge of money, can grandparents help with camping equip? And do a carboot or eBay for the Wales fund you will be fine :-) xx

Can hardly keep my eyes open today, was wide awake at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep *yawn* so I'm hitting the coffee hard before I sit down to finish off my OU assignment (deadline today ) I've got 450 words so only another 300 to go, although I really feel like I've missed the point of the question but I guess thats what the assignment is for! Will be taking my course book into work at lunch time to catch up on the week that I've missed because of my extension :eek:!!

On the plus side, payday was yesterday :j phew so DH and I will sit down this evening and do the necessary juggling! I have some change to take to the bank to pay off HFC too so I'll do that later as well.

I really must get more organised!! Just wish I knew how or where to start!!

True, sorry to hear about your friend. How is she doing? Seems like you've had your fair share of rubbish of late - fingers crossed it's onwards and upwards from now on! Good luck with the assignment, I came home to local college prospectus so will have a nosey through it later this week and perhaps start a course in September me thinks

7 weeks until we move into our new home :j:T:j SO SO SO excited!!!! Lots to be getting on with in meanwhile and debts are going to have to take a back burner until August/Sept me thinks
