I've just come over all miserable....wish I could shake this off for good, I'm getting a bit sick of all these ups and downs
its that energy thing you said about the other day Happy - having so much to do and just the thought of trying to do it all saps whatever energy you manage to scrape together....hopefully just needc a kick up the butt
Know what you mean, i'm on an up day today and hoping it continues for a long while!!!
Have you heard back from any creditors re offers? Once you know where you stand i'm sure you'll feel more settled. x0 -
My days usually start on an "up" and then get worse as the day goes on!!
Haven't heard a peep from any creditors - why is it when you want to hear from them, they ignore you but when you want them to go away they pester you continually? I swear once this debt is gone I am never, ever borrowing a penny that isn't a mortgage ever again!!Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -

Has anyone bid/watching the items you listed the other day? You could end them and relist them when it's free.
Good luck with the costume xx
Good idea Moose, I'll remember that for next time! I've listed everything but the dress for 99p start so the listings were free anyway - I guess you still have to pay ebay fees if stuff sells anyway.
His friends mum has done something clever with a pillowcase so I'll have a bash at that later!Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
have just got home from work, its really starting to take its toll on me, pretending to be nice whilst selling chips to people who really don't need to be eating any more chips
I know every little helps and the few hours I do there does really help our monthly finances but I'm so miserable there. I come home stinking and with less energy than I started with and I'm worried that I'm starting to relapse into depression
Sorry for the down in the dumps post but I just feel gutted and uselessPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
Ok, well thats quite enough of feeling gutted and useless - if I continue down that path I'll end up back on the anti-depressants I've been fighting so hard to get off and stay off!!
Onwards and upwards I think!
I thought I'd make a plan for tomorrow. Its the only day off I have for the next two weeks as I'm covering holidays at work so I need to be pretty organised about it.
I have several things I need to achieve tomorrow - I need to tidy up our bedroom and reveal the desk that I put in there for the purpose of having somewhere nice to sit to do my degree and once I've done that, I need to 1) find a chair to sit on at the desk and 2) actually do some degree work because I have my first tutorial on Saturday afternoon. I also need to ring the gas/elec people to change the date they are coming to swop over my metres because I can't get the day off that they want to come and of course they can't make a proper appointment. I also need to review our budget for last month and I need to meal and diary plan for the next two weeks because DH is away on a course so I need to know where I am without him being here to stabilise me or to pay for the shopping!
As part of the daydream to become a size 10 again I have also decided to stop alcohol. I've already cut out beer but wine is an altogether different challenge. So I have duly added an AFD tally to my signature, which in all honesty is more to do with decreasing my waistline rather than increasing my wealth - embarrassingly there has alway been room in my budget for winebut I can be good! I gave up booze on the 100 day challenge this time last year and did pretty well :A so I know I can do it, its just a case of wanting it badly enough :rotfl:!
I have also decided to do a car boot on Sunday with the stuff that I don't think would sell on ebay so that means lots of listing the stuff that I think will sell and then stacking the car up with the other carp :rotfl:! Will also try to get DH to part with at least one of his xbox's (I *think* he had four at last count - don't ask me why, I haven't a clue) and maybe some of his other random computer stuff that lives in the shed!
So there we are, that's my proverbial kickPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -

Feeling zapped of energy myself today and very low about debts and money - this debt business has a lot to answer for and the sad thing is that only have myself to blame
Hope you guys are feeling better today xx0 -
Hi guys,
Think we all need one of these:- :grouphug:!
I'm barely holding back the tears right now - the bloody exhaust fell off my car on the way back from school this morning and then (because its raining) I got covered in all sorts of carp when I crawled underneath it to tie it up with some network cable just so I could get home! Was livid but have sat down with a coffee now and just want to cry!!
Was so determined to have a good day today:mad:
