Totally get you - I think mine is around the 42k mark (can't remember what I wrote it down in diary) but would love to clear it all and like you the little sums don't make a great difference to such large totals of debt....that said the only way we'll ever get there is little by little unless we will the lottery or something My OH is sitting me down come next payday to see if we can't do something.....I wish!!! Don't think he realises that I sit and think about it all day every day.....bless him

Aiming for the sub 59k mark would be fab if you could do it before the end of the month - maybe make that your goal to spur you on with the little payments this month?

DH will be home soon so will be sending him to FIL's with broken car and instructions to fix it - I'm bored of wasting brain power on car issues!!

Happy, totally with Choccy on the three heads !! If I ever get spare cash (highly unlikely if things continue the way they've started) I'll be spiltting it 50:50 to debts and decorating bedroom. Have revealed desk from pile of washing but will now need to reveal bed before bedtime :rotfl: either that or drink enough vodka for it not to matter - I know which one gets my vote, so much for alcohol free days :rotfl:

ok no facebook owner ups, ive been to vote.. now im fed up of feeling like a round ball i need to try and get serious about weight loss lol

I'm on facebook, although must admit don't use it that often....apart from to keep up with my little sisters travelling antics! Can't beleive you guys are under 30! Makes me feel old now, i'm 32 this year I think you should both make it your goals to be debt free by your 30th bdays :p:p

Must say very jealous of you guys thinking of decorating rooms....i'm still surrounded by the luxuries of renting = magnolia :eek: Although we do have a lovely flat. I can't wait to move into our house....if it ever bl#ody happens :mad: It's been well over 2 months now and they are still yet to find somewhere to buy, I just want to move now

More often than not I do have three head - according to DH anyway :rotfl:

I would love to be debt free by 30 - if I'm 28 thats about 18 months away, if I'm 29 thats 6 months away :eek: will check with DH how old I am, can never remember :rotfl:

Oh Choccy - I own and my house is mostly magnolia!! Its just easier and it always looks clean which I like ! Have you found somewhere to move to Choc? Just having probs getting them out?

Well I've woken up to a Tory MP :eek: can't quite believe it, down here in deepest, darkest Cornwall....madness. All I can say is that I'll be hiding my money under the mattress for the foreseeable future :cool:
