Oh - and the puppy :D

Sounds just like my wish list :) We'll get there in the end. Well done for sorting the letters/offers - fingers crossed it's all good from now on for you :T
  • Morning the cost for the car will be 130 my dads going to sort it out for me so fee costs .... im really fed up ive just done all my workings outs wont be free of all debts till 2013 but free of all non secured debts by sept 2012... thats on basic salarys... still it makes me very sad..... we have to save after non secured paid because of a secure loan so you cant over pay by more than a 1000 per year and then you can only pay more if your paying it off but it says in sept 2012 the apr can change im worried it might shoot through the roofs

Oh Happy, thats gutting :( at least you have a clever Dad to sort it out though - big hugs :grouphug:

2013 isn't that far away at all - thats great especially based on basic salaries - do you get overtime/commission you could use to clear the unsecured quicker and then save up before the APR jump on the secured loan? Can you reject the rate hike on a loan like you can on a credit card?

We're diying at the mo too - just trying to stick to the budget that I've set each month. I've said we can spend £30 a month on home improvements which is making me shop even harder for paint and curtains etc. Fortunately we don't need any major structural stuff done, just a bit of plastering which is going to cost about £500 so we're saving up for that, but £500 will pretty much the whole house. I think spending money on our home is completely justified because we don't have much else and at the end of the day its an investment!

:D I countered the small house argument by saying we'll get a small dog :D although have just found a litter of Boxer Springer crosses - sooooo cute! And we've already got doggles, she's a dodgy cross too - German Shepherd x Shar Pei bless her!

I told him we can get a Westie, apparently they're better for allergies but he says we need a garden too, damn man & his sensibleness:p
