Running? Whats that? DH bought a rowing machine off ebay last night guess I could give it a go - I do have a few pounds (read 2 stones ) that need to be shifted!!

Have been thinking some more on the car issue. I think instead of stretching finances to buy one now, I'm going to save up and get one for next summer. Thinking about it, little convertibles probably have a bit of a premium at this time of the year so it makes sense to hang on a little while and save up and look to buy one in the winter.

Off to write the letters that I was supposed to write yesterday now, the sun has gone away so I don't mind working so much now! Was going to go and work for Dad today but Aunty Flo has decided to show up with all her evil sidekicks so I'm having a rest this morning then at the chippy for the afternoon then I think the prescription is hot water bottle, fleecy blanket and a bar of galaxy

Just home from work and got a phone call from my ex-FiL (very, very unusual - normally only when someone has died) so it gave me the wobbles when I saw his number on the caller ID. Turns out he wants my permission to take DS on holiday to Cyprus in August with his cousin! Obviously, I can't say no - I don't want to say no, because I'd rather Jack got a holiday than not - but it's set me off all stressy because I'd rather it was me taking him away but obviously we can't afford it blah blah blah.....so I'm cross with this stupid money situation again and I'm mad that I'm sending £1 when I really want to send £1,000's and pay the lot off!

Wish I could find the daydream/scheming/DFW plotting "off" switch!

True, tormenting ourselves is normal... im for ever in debate with myself why did i do this how did i do this i cant be happy till its all gone, then i close the doors and let it disappear for awhile... everyones in the same boat you arent been looked on in disapproval.... gradual gradual wins the race, you can have the holiday of a lifetime when you can afford and ds will remember it better with you happy not worrying about the cost of a meal out so pat yourself on the back take a deep breath and look at what life lessons you will be setting for your children... we are proud of you x
