Thats brilliant Choccy, will knuckle down and write to them all tomorrow and ask them to stop interest and keep my fingers crossed!! How long have you been self managing?

I've been managing it myself for about a year or so and it's going fine - there is a self manage dmp thread here on the boards with some helpful hints. Def give it a go and try and come to some arrangement with them - I tend to phone them and speak to the advisors, they are normally more than happy to help with arrangements. It's a big relief once sorted!

Hope the clearning and ebaying it coming along well x

Will do Choccy, thank you :D!

Very unhappy to be awake this morning, have had to have a second coffee to see if that will kick start me! Can't put my finger on this tiredness :s oh well, will battle through!

On the plus side, I've started daydreaming again..... this time a slightly more realistic target - a cute and sexy little convertible! Buying one would combine two of my very favorite things, driving and sunshine :D! Am currently wandering whether its a "want" or a "need" and I've decided its both. I definitely need to replace my car because it needs work on it that will cost more than its worth, but I could replace it with a less ostentatious (sp?) motor for the same money as the cute one....but I think I wanna be ostentatious :rotfl: mmm decisions lol!!

Off to work for Dad for a couple of hours now and then back home to sort out budget and write letters and work out how to pay for the new motor :rotfl:

    Happy days :D

  • Morning True, how are you today?

Oooh a nice little convertible would be lovely :D I really like the Toyota MR2 (and they're not too much money) but I don't like how the wind blows my hair all about in soft tops:rotfl:
If you like driving I would say (I'm a bad influence when it comes to cars) get one you want because it will ruin driving for you if you don't like what you have.
When I wrote off the love of my life (car wise) I had to buy whatever I could get hold of at the time, ran it for 18 months and absolutely hated it. I spent £900 on an old mini that was full of rust but loved it :D 6 years later I have another of the written off car and despite all it's faults I still love driving him.
    anyway that's my 2p:rotfl:

    xx

Must be a good True, must be! DH is no help, he's said I can have whatever car I like - oh for the days when the men made the decisions :rotfl:

I've found out a bit more about the work that Dad has asked me to do - basically sorting out his archive filing, which isn't as simple as it sounds because he's got about 25 years worth that needs moving from three different locations into a huge shipping container that he's hiring! It's definitely going to be worth all the hard work - £20 a DAY :D:D:D:D:D

So maybe I'll hang on to my current car for a bit longer (for space reasons) and put those earnings into the car fund and then little MG here I come......:D:D:D

    VERY happy days :j:j:j
