I was walking past a cash point at a supermarket once and heard it beeping. I went over, and the message on the screen said 'Do you want more time?', or something similar. I pressed 'Yes', and all options were immediately available, cash withdrawal, balance, etc. I pressed 'Cancel', retrieved the card and handed it in, and explained what had happened. The girl at customer service checked the card and the back hadn't been signed, so not only could I have robbed the fella while is card was in the cashpoint, I could've robbed him by signing the back in his name and getting a load of shopping in!! Not my style though, although I must admit I was just a teeny bit tempted - we were proper skint at the time! Glad I did the right thing however.

As mentioned above you cannot change the PIN without re entering the old PIN.

    Below is the sequence required

    1. Insert the card in the ATM.
    2. Press the button "Other Services".
    3. Press the button "PIN Change".
    4. Enter the *NEW* 4 digits PIN code.
    5. Confirm the *NEW* 4 digits PIN code.
    6. Enter the *OLD* 4 digits PIN code.
    7. A message appears "Your PIN code is successfully changed".
    8. A message appears "Do you want to continue?".
    9. If the cardholder wants to use another service of the ATM, they need to push the "YES" button.
    10. If the cardholder wants to take their card back, they must push the "NO" button.

I'm telling the truth, though. It did happen, and he did get his money back. I think your number 6 belongs between 1 and 2. That's how it happened.
Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yes you are right missed that one out!

So the sequence as you listed it is very wrong...why not correct it then? Why not press the thanks button more?
