    Good evening everyone

Sandy, how was it and did the elephant behave herself :D

    Zoe - top news :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

suep - my condolences to you and yours :A

We had a wonderful day today. We went to the Imperial War museum and saw the Ministry of Food exhibition. We bought 2 WWII gardening posters for our kitchen :T We then went into the holocaust exhibit which was totally draining, but very thought-provoking. We then went to the National Gallery and the Portrait Gallery.

Just watched the 3 Chancellors - totally underwhlmed :( so off to see whay others on DT thought :)

See you all later, Penny. x

the curtains are lined with a plasticcy type material which I don't think can be ironed so you are prob right Greenbee. think i will press with a cloth and see what they look like. I can't afford to dry clean them at the moment.

pigpen well done with the painting in the boys room -you are doing well ....as usual!!!!
aj sounds a very interesting dissertation - and it made me think about what is available - I wish i could help you but at the moment i cant think of anything useful - I hope some of the Mums on here with chidren with aspergers, autism etc can give you their insights. Do you have a school near you that has autistic/ADHD/ disabled chirldern that would give your their thoughts regarding the learning and playing aspects? the only person i can think of who impresses me is Evelyn Glennie - she is deaf but is such a talented musician.
Mudders hi honey - love and hugs to you and yours and especially stripes xxxxx you never did give us the final outcome of the dog and bone:rotfl:
greenbee poor sandy but its better they are doing all the tests while they have her there and she doesnt have to wait for appointments and hopefully the nurses will be able to give her something to help her rest a bit even after the biopsy.
Jassa great news od DGD's school place

1 step well done with the bedroom - sounds like its had a good old doing! it should make it easier to keep on top of now.
FFP :T:T well done with the ironing - its such a good feeling when you get it all done.
pigpen def not black - something silvery or blue mottled? not too dark because you have quite a lot of dark colours already IMHO.
G&B thank goodness they managed to do the scan - its bad enough having to now wait for the results you certainly didnt want to have to wait fiurther for the scan
helen J. congratulations on the new job - I hope the hours work out better for you and the family - well done :T:T

I am sure i have missed something - i was distracted 3 times tonight by phone calls and was trying to read the thread at the same time - well during my mother's call as I had heard it all before!!!

So apologies if i have missed you - it wasnt meant - hugs to all the poorlies - as Pigpen and Valli put my thoughts onto the screen - there is a lot of sadness, worry, misery, etc here just now so I am sending huge (((hugs))) to everyone.
