    After the disaster that was court a few weeks ago, we fully expected kh to get the original court order reinstated(thursday 4pm to sunday 5pm) which would have been terrible....anyway....they have given us

    FULL CUSTODY!!!!!!

    boddy As someone who spends a lot of time in hospitals....never under estimate how important the volunteers are :D sometimes just seeing a friendly face makes all the difference....I can totally see your point of view x

    hex and Greenbee thanks for the advice, not chance to do anything today as it has weed it down all day so it will be much worse. There is a little retaining wall at the bottom DH is going to drill some holes in this too and we will do all the other suggestions before we have to resort to the drains route!
    greenbee thanks for the Sandy updates. HAve had guests today so not had chance to get on but have been thinking of her all the same.

    measured my curtains from old house to see if they will fit in my dining room as I don't really like the ones which the previous owner had left and they fit:j so guess what I will be doing tomorrow! has anyone ever washed cotton curtains before that said dry clean only? I will need to iron them anyway

    Done a bit today but not much as I've been at work and I've got some studying to do now.

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    Sweep and mop floor
    Level Two
    Empty and wash out bins
    Clean out fridge
    Level Three
    Clear window sills of gibble and wipe them before replacing back the necessary stuff and finding new homes for the unnecessary stuff!
    Clear out the under sink cupboard.. fling what you don't need/use. Replace dishclothes etc if needed.
    Extras
    1. Clean light shades and blind
    Off to study.

    Only problem you might have is if they are lined....the fabrics shrink at different rates so the lining might shrink more than the fabric or vice versa so they might not hang that well anymore. Sometimes that's the reason they are dry clean only, unless the main fabric is very delicate.

    I washed mine on a cold wash and they are cotton and lined and dried them on the line and they turned out fine.

    I think they may shrink a tiny amount - it worked ok for me

    Wipe units and appliances..
    Empty and wash out bins
    Clean out fridge
    Clear and wipe table.. clean cloth!
    Level Three
    Scrub manky marks off walls and tiles.. scrub that greasy grout!
    Clear window sills of gibble and wipe them before replacing back the necessary stuff and finding new homes for the unnecessary stuff!
    Clear out the under sink cupboard.. fling what you don't need/use. Replace dishclothes etc if needed.

    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. HHI
    3. Clean light shades and blinds
    4. Wipe over oven and hob!
