I've just sent a text to sandy that will need some explaining if someone is reading it to her! "Penny wants to know whether the elephant behaved itself. Get well soon, love from..." and then a list of flylady names :D

Suppose I should clear up and get ready for work tomorrow... Must remember I've got an early start... think it might be a short skirt day too, as it looks as if we might have an aggressive audience, but as they're men... ;):o

That’s easy! Since laying down the law last Friday, DS1 has been lovely (for almost all of the time). DS2 has made a great start at his new school (incl breakfast club and new childminder) – he has settled down really well and is even keen to do homework. His teacher is very happy with him. I hope that counts as two things, because beyond that I’d struggle. There is always this thread….

no.... don't do both at once... that would be unprofessional :p legs are more subtle

seriously... one of my directors told me that if I wanted to get my own way in meetings, to wear short skirts and make sure I wasn't hidden behind a table, as men apparently can't concentrate on what you're saying if they have the option of looking at your legs...

it always worked on him :D

and his successor at payrise/bonus time :T

let's hope it works tomorrow... my professional reputation for distracting the audience from unpleasant news depends on it... although my US colleagues will be horrified if they find out that I discussed the tactics with my male colleagues in advane of the meeting!

    1. I have the love of the best man ever and for this I am eternally grateful and remember how lucky I am every day
    2. Just had Parents Evening for both kiddies and WOW, I'm so happy with what they are doing, especially my DD who has gone through alot of emotional growing up over the last couple of years [she was behind all the other children for a long time] I'm very proud of both of them and extremely happy with how they are progressing.
    3. I have a home I'm happy with [even though I do need a daily list to keep on top of it!!!!]
    4. I know that if I have a problem then I can come here and get the best advice I could ever wish for and for that I thank you all from the bottom of my heart
