Does everyone else include wine? becuase otherwise, close to £100.00 aweek for two adults is far too much.

We only chuck away plate scrapings and I do mean scrapings as well.

I'll try for £300 next month but this will just be food/cleaning/smellies.

    Hi Linda -

you include what you want to include, Some people only include food in the GC. Some don't include things that their OH buys. Some include wine. Some include takeaways.:p

It's YOUR challenge and you make of it what you want :D

My budget is for 2 adults and 4 children (2 in disposables) and 2 guinea pigs and includes pretty much everything (and we have organic/ free range meat and eggs and some organic veg)

£4.20 spent today on bananas, toothpaste, body spray and milk.

I got some ice lollies for everyone at work, but not going to count them. Also got some painkillers as my neck was really sore again :( It must be how I sleep so will need to swap my pillows round tonight and see if that helps.

Spent £3.50 on coffee and cake at Ashridge woods cafe today - should have taken a flask and sandwich and will do so next time. Didn`t intend to go in cafe but it was colder than I expected up there today and the cake lookes sooooooo nice!
Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.

I've got £12.80 left for the month, and still quite a bit of food in the freezer/cupboards. Having done my meal plan for the week, I've made a list of what I need and can get it at Mr S for £9.72, but drive past Lidl on my way home, so am going to pop in there tomorrow and pick up anything on my list that is cheaper there.

Next month might be harder as I'll have to replace some of the freezer stuff and I'll have to buy some meat, and having started part way through the month this month it'll be harder to guess what my budget should be, but I'm hoping I'll be able to keep on top of it!

Bum - cat just leapt on me - have forgotten they might need feeding too! :rotfl:

£3.08 on some more things for the OH's lunches today, & £1 to try some Kelloggs fibre plus bars as they're now a HeB on Slimming World. Absolutely gorgeous, so chocolatey & yummy they're going to become a regular on the shopping list.
I must admit I have been naughty and started spending some of the budget for May, but my thinking is we're not actually going to be eating any of it (especially with being in Turkey next week) so it's not reeeeally cheating...

I don't include wine, takeaways, meals out, cleaning materials or toilettries.

Just food that I buy to have at home or packed lunches.
