I gave into the OH's demands for strawberries today - only 75p down at the market though. I chose to get one instead of the 2 for £1.20 because I'm starting to realise that when it comes to things like fresh fruit buying more than we need is a waste. My OH would be much happier with me buying one punnet at 75p a week than get 2 at once and not buy any the week after. The same goes with grapes - I need to locate somewhere that does small bunches I can buy once a week rather than end up throwing half the bunch away because they've gone bad!Mortgage: [STRIKE]08/13 £28,896.49[/STRIKE] 01/18 £00

£7.23 spent tonight. I shouldn't go near supermarkets, i'm not safe in them! I only went for a bucket thingy to put my plants in, which I won't include anyway as it's not really grocery related.
Although, to be fair I did rather well for that amount. I got some Bold gel for £2 (was on offer for £3 and had a £1 off voucher which came with a free sample - it smells so yummy!)
Also got a cake to take to my dad's tomorrow, some mayonnaise on offer, some cloths for cleaning, baby oil (going to try and shine my hob!) They were reducing bits on the bakery so got 4 bagels for 48p (I can never resist reduced bagels) and a cheesy french stick for 21p which i'll have some with my dinner.
Oh, and a packet of crispsThey had the new Walkers flavours so I got the chicken teriyaki ones to try.

Have managed not to spend much this week, still got just over €20 but have very few veg and no bananas left....not much other than chicken and pork chops in freezer, may have to get some steak for OH, I can make my dinner with anything out of freezer, not as fussy as him....there are sardines and corned beef too so I will be grand.

Another £6.98 today, but should last me the week, fingers crossed! Am going to have to start looking more closely at the meal planning thread as my imagination tends to drift towards puddings whenever I'm on a recipe site and I am at risk of having a very repetitive menu!0

So Sorry Everyone, I have been AWOL for a few weeks due to being ill and also being away. Back now, but in a hopeless muddle with my receipts. I've updated my signature as best I can, so if you don't mind Mrs McC can you mark me down as having spent £582 of my annual budget so far. Just shows how quickly you lose the plot when you get out of routine.
Anyway trying very hard to sort myself out again, so fingers crossed. Toad in the hole for dinner today followed by Melon. I will try and catch up on a few of the posts now.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin
