Another £250 for April please

Don't know that I'll be so lucky as to come under goal again as I've used quite a bit out of the freezer now, but worth a try!
Good luck everyone!0 -
I've come home today to a nice pressie from Mr S - a letter containing 2 vouchers for £6 off a £30 spend.
Guess where I'll be doing the shopping this weekend!
As luck would have it, its hopefully a smaller grocery week than usual for us so £30 or so should do it. There is also an Aldi next door to Mr S so I can pop in there first to have a quick look at the F&V.
I'm going to try really hard to do a meal plan and shopping list for the weekend so I can really stick to it whilst shopping.
Off to look in the freezer/cupboards...........0 -
Hello to everyone on the April challenge. I've just declared my March budget (over as per)
As you can see from my sig I've started on my April budget, £31.37 from Mr T, £41.56 from Mr A and £29.25 on dog food. Once again the freezer and cupboards are full to bursting, so shouldn't need much apart from F&V (heard this one before?) I dont want to increase my budget as I want to prove I can manage, maybe this will be the month???0 -
Hi,
budget of 240 please this month. I think this will be more realistic than the 200 I have been trying to do for the last 2 months.

Been to Tesco & Sainsbury's today (& still have Morrisons to go tomorrow). Bought 2 joints of meat at Tesco & 1 from Sainsbury's so that's Sunday dinners plus Mondays left overs sorted for the month. Have added on my £9.24 from my bottle of Baileys that I bought last week from Morrisons that I didn't add on to March's.

Hello All
Not sure if i can do this but please drop my monthly target to £150.
Did well last month but we did live out of the freezer and with the 4 day holiday coming up this weekend, dont want to crash and burn by setting the target too low
Thanks

My youngest is 8 weeks too, do you count nappies in your total?
I use a mix of washables and disposables (loved the Asda size 1 for £1 deal) and my total includes all toiletries, cleaning stuff and nappies. It's an incentive to get me to use less disposibles - I have a 2 year old who refuses to potty train too!!!
Mine was born 2.2.10 - a girl - how about yours?0 -
First proper shop of April so popping in to update. Walked to Tesco, rather than take the car (weather is horrendous here:() at lunchtime. Felt the need to stock up on fruit, veg & healthy stuff. Feeling a bit rundown so have bought loads!! Got a few surprise whoopsies as I tend to only shop in the evening on the way home from work.
Got prepacked shredded cabbage, organic mushrooms, chestnut mushrooms, bananas, tomatoes, cumberland sausages, breaded mushrooms & bagels all on whoopsies. Total £15.15 reduced to £6.14 so I'm a happy bunny. Although I do appear to have a mushroom addiction?? :rotfl:
Stocked up on some other storeroom stuff in case the weather doesn't improve. Although, I already had enough to last a good few weeks!!
Good luck with Aprils GC everyone
