  • hi,

Have just been informed that I would be breaking the copyright Act if I uploaded the documents I received when my car was clamped!

PCN-UK is the sub-contractor with vibe leisure, although I thought PCN-UK LTD did not trade anymore??????

    very confusing.com :P

Ashford obviously hasn't been to law school. You won't be breaking any copyright if you upload the documents, in anyway whatsoever. Even if they did take action against you for copyright, it would not be successful anyway. As usual they think bully boy tactics win the day. Don't let the bullies win!!! The more they bully, the more you take action

It looks as though Ash is repeating what he did on a previous occasion. There again he sent threatening emails to someone who dared post on here.

    Good for you. :T

Take the scammers to Court - they simply cannot legally clamp without SIA compliance.

And rattle the cage of whoever occupies/owns that site and was stupid enough to allow Ash's knuckle-dragging thugs to carry out their protection racket there.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Keep the threatening emails and use them in court, if it gets that far.

This from the Vibe Leisure website:-

A visit is a final attempt to recover the debt before court action is commenced. A visit to a debtors address is a clear message that the matter isn’t going away and a personal visit doesn't make it easy to ignore the debt when our debt collectors are stood on their doorstep. Our debt collectors have many years of experience and can be very persuasive in getting your debt settled. When a debt collector pays a visit most debtors will make payment rather than go through the courts.

Does that sound threatening? I think it does especially the phrase "Our debt collectors have many years of experience and can be very persuasive in getting your debt settled.".

Unlike PCN-Uk, Vibe is actually a "new" member of the BPA and is an approved member. I wonder if a complaint to the BPA is worthwhile?

I am sure the BPA receive hundreds of complaints from disgruntled motorists and ignore them all thinking all the motorists are stupid to have parked wrongly. That Vibe Leisure are approved members just goes to prove what a farce the BPA really are (thanks for your money here's your membership).

Another gem from the Vibe Leisure website:-

Although our company does offer a wheel clamping a service we now actively discourage land owners and land manager to use this service as it can cause many problems and potential legal issues

So why are they clamping in this case?

Also, lets have a good laugh at this:-

Vibe leisure limited has now become a member of the British Parking Associations approved operator scheme. Only the most professional operators are able to join the scheme as the compliance criteria of the BPA approved scheme is rigorous and looks at the whole of your company management and its activities before membership is granted. Companies also have to further undergo regular compliance checks to make sure that operators fulfil the required standards.
