Well got through lunchtime without spending too much and I even had a lovely healthy sandwich from the Bakers!

But thinking about the need to clean, I saw in Woolies a spray bottle for only 78p and thought that it could be used to clean windows with my own cleaning solution, so I bought it! However! I don't know a decent window cleaning mix using water, vinegar etc. Your kind assistance would be appreciated and also a solution for any other place to clean would be good!!

    Thank you!

If you have a look in the cleaning section of the indexed collections (in the blue box) it will tell you in there what quantites to use. I sort of just make it up as I go along myself. Be warned tho when I go in the Indexed and start going thro the threads I dont come out again for ages!

Well not had a greatly productive day as phone didnt stop ringing all morning, managed to get dressed at lunchtime and out of the house at 2pm - went to Makro got a cheap barbeque (our old one just died on us but we must have had it at least 5 years). But didnt make it in time for the uniform shop so maybe will attempt that again Fri.

Am looking forward to tomm. Cant possibly have any more major problems with work (am touching wood and keeping everything crossed) and have got a hairdressers appointment so am leaving children with oh from 10.30 and going to Southend which is 45 mins away (when I moved I couldnt change hairdressers!) Will treat myself to a lovely large mocha coffee from costa and will sit for three hours having a cut and colour reading all the magazines. If I get there in time I might also have a BHS breakfast to keep my strength up for all the sitting around!:rotfl:

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I had a bright idea before. I ran out of fabric conditioner (I use smartprice watered down ;) Even cheaper than white vinegar. ) with 1 load to do so I used some fabric freshener spray I had in the cupboard :D I hardly use the spray as I save it for when we've been to pubs or around people who smoke and we need the clothes we were wearing ASAP (like OH's winter coat that he wears for work and never seems to take off  ). I just used it like fabric softener and the clothes smell lovely :j Will use it again before I buy any more fabric conditioner otherwise it will still be sitting in my cupboard in 12 months time :rotfl:

    Evening all,

Just love this time of night when everyone, even O/H are in bed. Soooo peaceful.

Wanted to post this morning but no chance, kids hogging computer.

Decided the task for today was to de-clutter our bedroom as it always seems to be where every unwanted item gets dumped. OMG what a nightmare, took me all day but at least now its dust free, junk free, wardrobes & drawers sorted and since it was lovely & windy outside I even washed the curtains.

Got the local firemen visiting tomorrow between 2-4pm as they are giving free safety checks and will issue and fit smoke detectors free of charge if you haven't got any and I haven't:o so as well as Moneysaving I get a house full of hunks (hopefully):j

Zed42 - You lucky thing, would love a greenhouse, its on my christmas wish list from O/H. Well Done.

Right off for a nosey round, Catch you later

    Take Care
