Hi,

The GC have gone having eaten us out of house and home, DGS insisted that he wanted to stay until Countdown had finished.......OH has a bowls meeting tonight si I need to shoot off and get his tea ready, think we'll have boiled eggs and soldier fingers.

GC brought my cards for tomorrow, were very interested to know what I was going to do for my birthday, I told them they were my party!!!!!! good job we had jelly for pudding and carrot cake for later, its not a party without jelly and cake Nana!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Right I'm off might be back later, trying to finish another cushion cover, but my finger end is quite sore so might not do too much tonight.

There was a traffic jam near the dump, so took a while, but I am now officially maggot free!!!:j

I didn't realise Ulrika Johnnson was actually from the area, I knew she still lives there/or/thereabouts, because she used (still does) to shop in the butchers we used in Cookham Dean.

*newsflash* - I've just bought a greenhouse from eBay - despatching DH to go and get it tomorrow!!! I am now most most excited!!!! All I need now is somewhere to put it! Which should also happen soon, as the garden is currently being sorted out hopefully! It's my Christmas pressie from DH (for last yr ) ... don't think he's done too badly as it only cost £40 :j :j

Right, on with matching up this material .... is there an easy way of pinning it so that it matches exactly ?? It's all small leaves and flower buds .. it's a nightmare!

Crikey, you lot wear me out!
The only vaguely domesticated things I've done today are go to Costco & spend fifty quid (without a list so I forgot at least 3 things) and warmed up some leftovers (again) for my tea, which I'm currently trying to eat whilst reading this thread.

I might get the hoover out in a bit, but quite frankly I can't be bothered! Anyway, it might drown out the noise of the doorbell - I've got someone coming to pick up my freecycled garden furniture tonight

I need to be settled in front of the TV by 9 for the F word; Gordon's piggies are on the menu. Oh, and I must ring my sister, who has picked up her new puppy today.
