that wont be hard CM with all this OS baking going on - are we just a bunch of middle age women stuffing our faces with cakes????..................................................................urrrmmm YES!

dont put too many blueberries in snowy like i did! otherwise no one else will eat them and you will have to eat them all yourself - hang on a minute - thats not a bad idea!

Indulge yourself Kaz, have a big slice of quiche!! I'm working on the basis the bigger your friends, the slimmer you can look! I want you all to put on about 2 stones if you don't mind!:rotfl:
I'm probably twice your size already CM!

I did all butter because I had no lard - turned out lush but ver difficult to work with. As for the jam tartlets, usually they turn to toffee (a kind description for chewy burnt jam). This time I baked the tartlets blind for about 10 mins, then put in the curd and kept checking until curd was piping hot. Probably could;ve done with longer - but they disappeared so quick it's hard to tell!
Took so long to reply as I was slicing off a bit of quiche..... it's now sliced and in the freezer as I know there'll be none left with your influence!

That would be impossible!! Five years ago I lost over 4 stone ( very nearly 5) Since giving up smoking 6 months ago I've put on over 2 stones. And I'd already gone up by about 10 lbs before that!!

Couldn't resist - one sliced half looks considerable smaller than the other.... it just fell apart, honest :D

I was wondering what 'naughtie nibbles' you lot like to indulge in - now don't go getting too excited, I do mean 'food'. I'm quite partial to turning my 'not so bad' rich tea biccies into cholesterol heaven with a slathering of butter - anyone else got any 'naughtie' treats they're willing to 'share'?

OOH I just love soda bread. Was the worst part of my visit to Dublin last October, I thought everywhere would be awash with soda bread and it wasn't!!!
