Snoozer, thank you. I work for our local council too and will be making enquiries with Housing, if she's a council tenant or HA I will be making a complaint via Housing. As you say there's not a lot we can do about the parking which is why we requested the residents parking.
Forgot to say I noticed someone had keyed all down the side of her car and worse still, keyed B**** in foot high letters on her bonnet!!! It was when I saw that I decide to get back to the car and call the police!

... Can I also admit that I think Bryn's rubbish at Handel
(well, most of the time - he's pretty good at the loud blustering stuff like "The trumpet shall sound"!) ... The Mozart concert is Symphony no. 39 and the Requiem. And something called "Meistermusik for men's chorus and orchestra" which I've never come across before ... Rzl xx
Hi, Rzl! DB - looks a bit like Bryn Terfel, but younger :rotfl: :rotfl:
Would you like to choose the next CD? Emma Johnson on clarinet? Dido and Aeneas, Ella Fitzgerald, or I have the Requiem? Kathleen Ferrier, soundtrack to "Lipstick on your Collar"?

DH has taken the children fishing today. The clay pigeons they brought home yesterday have been simmering all night, but still don't look edible :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You're most welcome!! I speak as I find, think even on a forum like this instinct kicks in!
As for those pigeons, think you should have used a meat mallet to tenderise them first!!:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
PenPen - go with the Kathleen Ferrier :j :j ... or the Lipstick on your Collar soundtrack, cos I loved that show
... Do you remember, it was on TV round about the same time as a series called "Head over Heels" which was also a 50s rock'n'roll thing? That was fab!

I'm now working as a reaseacher, looking at a new way to scan for breast diseases (without the squishing and xrays of mammography).

Do hope this works out, to not be squished would be wonderful!!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

OK, Lipstick first (memories of a very young Ewan Macgreggor, and those chaps in Camel suits), then Kate.
Thanks, Rzl!

Loubee - your research looks really interesting! I must admit I can't wait until my viva is over - I have a date already (sometime in November) but I'm still collecting data. Hoping to submit end of September which is looking feasible, and I have a fellowship lined up for afterwards which is a load of my mind. My PhD is on DNA quadruplex structures - I'm a structural biologist.
