Mine was the snappily titled " Electrical Impedance Tomography of Human Brain Function". I was looking at new ways to image stroke and epilepsy at the bed side (rather than using those big scanners).
I'm now working as a reaseacher, looking at a new way to scan for breast diseases (without the squishing and xrays of mammography).

Mimi *hugs* what a horrible thing to happen. Some people just have no respect for others.0 -
Hi everyone,
I thought if I could join in then it would get me a bit more 'focused' on things. Am busy jamming and freezing etc atm but that means the housework is suffering! Can't seem to keep on top of everything.
Mimif ~ hugs to you - what a horrible experience, hope the kiddies are ok today.
This morning I'm at work, and I don't want to be cos the sun is shining and there is loads of washing to do at home. This af I'm off to a friend who has just come back from US with stacks of scrapbooking supplies that I am going to ooh and aah over.
Then back home for chicken and rice, followed by hm blackberry icecream - made a big tub of it which won't last long the way we are going at it:D
Anyway, hope you all have an ok day.
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Well my parcel arrived about half an hour ago :j :j
Very impressive service - only placed the order at 9am yesterday morning.
Bathroom all cleaned and sparkly.
Dishes all done and worktops cleaned in kitchen.
Waiting on a load of washing finishing.
Just having a wee sit down and think I may start the ironing
For all you pukka padders out there: PC World are doing half price stationery until Tuesday. There is a pukka pad project book for £1.99 which looks interesting. Think I may pop in tomorrow after work.0 -
Thank you all, you are lovely. Just noticed I don't have a thanks button on my settings, what do I do?

Penelope_Penguin wrote:Rzl, I'm no longer the only one in the building, but alone in my office, so have Bryn Terfel singing Handel to me! DD thinks he looks like he should be Daniel Bedingfield's older brother :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: What's on the Mozart programme?
... Can I also admit that I think Bryn's rubbish at Handel
(well, most of the time - he's pretty good at the loud blustering stuff like "The trumpet shall sound"!) ... The Mozart concert is Symphony no. 39 and the Requiem. And something called "Meistermusik for men's chorus and orchestra" which I've never come across before ... Rzl xx

Hi all,
TGIF and a bank holiday on Monday to look forward to. Just been planning all the jobs I have to do. MIL & SIL coming down next week for a couple of days  . They are going to see the queen's dresses and DH and I are taking them to see Billy Elliott - looking forward to that.
DS gets back from Bangor tonight so I can look forward to a messy house again, but I love having him home:D .
Ageandjo, hope things start to go better for your sister.
Mimi, I work for a local Council and we get lots of complaints about parking - unfortunately there's not a lot we can do unless cars are parked illegally and then it's up to the police. It sounds like the woman who attacked you was unbalanced.
BRzl it makes all the difference having a good night doesn't it?
Sorry everyone else the thread is so long these days it's hard to remember who said what and where.
