    Morning all

    Happy Birthday Becles

    Have a great holiday PP

Thanks Kaz, I may take advantage of that hole later :D

Just off to finish getting ready then I'm off to take the parents shopping, DH is at home all day again so I am leaving him with the kids and DS is off to stay at his friends overnight. I've told him he needs to be home early enough to clean his guinea pigs before he goes to his Dad's for the weekend.

I wonder if anything will have been done when I get home, I bet not :(

    Good morning

PP hope you have a lovely time away
Becles - have a happy birthday
Kaz - sounds like you could have done with having Time Team in, surely they could have told you about the history of the garden from the evidence (and dug it for free!)
    hi to everyone else too!

It looks a bit more like summer outside today, so have got 1 lot of washing ready to go out, & the next one on its way.
DS has a friend coming to visit today - he will be coming by train & its the first time he has done it so hope he arrives ok!

Dinner will be chicken curry - yesterday was roast chicken, so this will use up the rest of the meat. Hope friend likes curry!

    Have a good day everyone!
  • Morning All,

PP - Have a great holiday.

I dip in and out of OS depending on how much time I have but today I don't have to leave for work until much later - yeah!

Went for a really good job last week, didn't get it but got excellent feedback and they want to hold my application on file in case another position comes up.

My best friend and her daughter (7) arrive tonight so we are looking forward to a girly weekend.

Hugs to all who need them today.

    Hello all!

Have skimmed the thread, and a bit of yesterdays. ((((hugs)))) to all that need them.

    Position 126 eh AussieLass?:naughty:

Nicki, PP and Ajax18 enjoy your holidays/honeymoon!!

Kaz, yesterdays tidy-up? Um well um, it sort of didn't happen:o BUT the freezer is packed to the gills with curry, spag bol and chilli.:D And anyway DGS will be here any minute and he'd only have wrecked it all, and I'm easily distracted, and stop waffling Churchmouse!! To be honest I was wiping up a spill in the fridge and spotted the stuff I'd got to do the bulk curry, thought I'll just do that first, and the rest just followed. You on the other hand have kept to your plan and i so admire you for it. You must have toned up well this last week. Just think if you were a star you'd pay a fortune for the sort of workout you've given your body.

Ticklemouse many congrats on your new business! Hope it all works out and do so admire your courage and determination!! Maybe one day you'll feel able to tell us the business area you're in. Shame that some horrible people mean you have to be so careful, but on reflection do understand.

I'm sure I've missed loads, sorry but just noticed the time and I must get on DGS will be here any minute now!

Hope your days go well, love CM xxxxx

    Hi all,

Happy holidays to everyone who is going away, especially Ajax on honeymoon:D, don't try position 126;) .

Minds now gone blank as to what everyone else is doing and I don't have time to reread the thread so hugs or congrats (lightbulb, happy birthday Beccles) to all who need or want them.

Not done a lot OS this week, although keeping up with my morning routines. Instead I've been doing a lot of displacement activities. I've bought a Pukka Project Book and stickers and a calendar and am planning how to organise them. I have started a spending diary and a diet diary (only lost 1lb in 10 days - maybe it was the meal out ad the chinese dinner when DD was here last weekend:confused: )

Better go and do some work now.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECLES

    Morning all,

Woke up feeling shattered this morning. Spent all day yesterday sorting out my nan's house. 64 bags went to the charity shop!!!!!!! Nan loved her clothes!!

We have provisionally sold the house, a neighbour 2 doors down has said she would give us the asking price and in cash, so that is one less thing to worry about.

I am going to tackle the ironing mountain this morning whilst dd and dh are out, then this afternoon a quick tidy and dust, then need to polish my drum ready for next week, as we are off to the Royal Marines base in Portsmouth on sunday for some training and loads of drill, can't wailt!!!

Hope everyone has a good day, and hugs to them who need them.
