    Morning all :D
This insomnia thing is catching. Despite all my digging yesterday I couldn't get to sleep last night until about 2 or 3am! I resisted the urge to log on as I know from experience that once I do that it's regular nights of insomnia. I think I must crave the peace and quiet that the solitude of that time of night provides... no 'Mam,mam, mam' Lol.

Not a lot to report here. Didn't manage to read all of the thread yesterday so hugs to anyone who's in need. The garden has all been dug over except for about 2 meter square( so that's 30 done). It seems that other ocupiers have even left rubbish bags there to rot in the past as we uncovered lots of crisp packets and bits of decomposed black bags in some areas. Several toys were found including a caps gun that DS2 is refusing to throw away (told him that he could have a spade for Christmas and permission to dig the garden... heaven knows what else previous children have left there!) Two lots of concrete for old line posts, a few toy boats, a minnie mouse... As we were finishing I wished we'd kept a pile of what we've found - it've made a good picture.
I've a cracking blister under a callous and feel as though I've done ten rounds with Mike Tyson. The housework I normally hate doing suddenly has a lot of appeal.... as does the cooking I was previously bored with. In fact yesterday evening as I was digging I was 'fantasizing' about doing a week of cooking and cleaning next week when this part of the garden is finished :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Going to drink my tea now before it gets cold.... Hope you managed to get loads done yesterday Churchmouse ;)
Twink You've certainly been busy with that paint brush! Takes me at least a week to do a room :o

Catowen - I was on the 'DIY' board yesterday checking to see if I had advice re my lawn and read your thread re your 'fridge'. I think there's been a really good reply since you last checked it, thought I'd mention it just incase you'd not seen it.
Sorry I'm not saying hi to everyone individually at the mo, but if you've read this far you know why :p Thinking of you all and sending positive vibes your way and trying to read as much of the daily thread as possible every day.
    Best wishes

Moggins There's a great big hole been dug in my garden, should be pretty easy to uncover at the mo if you'd like to bury your OH in there.... (((Hugs))) to you and hope you have a better day today.

Quick scan of the thread this morning while I finish my coffee. We're 97% packed, only toiletries to go :D DD is upstairs cleaning her teeth, then it's my turn and we should be done and ready to go :j Whether it's by 9am I don't know but I'm hoping so.

Right, coffee finished so I need to go and rescue the bathroom from DD :rotfl:

See you all next week

    Good morning all

Just a quick post, have to go and see one of my little old ladies in a minute, and open her curtains.

I did read all the posts so apologies if I miss anyone out. ((((HUgs)))) to P-P, Aussielass and anyone else who has woken up sore or who just needs one.
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECLES
And, have a good holiday P-P. nicki, Ajax and anyone else who is going away.

My breakfast was weetabix and soya milk.
Lunch will probably be toast and marmite
    tea something out the freezer

This will make you laugh...my OH has no sense....he went down to the charity shop yesterday, and saw a couple of things that I might like. So, he got them to put them aside for me and sent me down to have a look....He's so sweet! He picked out two skirts for me (I never wear skirts), one looked like it belonged to a small child (maybe size 8 if that) and one was a size 12..... I'm quite a bit bigger than that! Don't know if he thinks I'm that size, or if he wishes....but quite a sweet thing to do really.

Anyway... curtains! have a good day all.
