Kaz, you silly b******r!! I would not be meeting up with you if you didn't sound like one of the nicest people around :D I don't bother with unpleasant people.

Although saying that does anyone want to adopt my parents? Please?? Pretty please?? I have wasted half the day (supposed to be day at the beach for the kids) wandering around after them as they wanted to go here there and bloody everywhere, had to have lunch at a certain cafe and then embarrased us all by rowing at the table.

Then I almost had to stay in Weston as we were supposed to be meeting Dad at the coach at 4.45, we were there, no sign of Dad. Come 5.20 (20 minutes after the coach should have left, I got off the coach, left the kids in the care of Mum and told DS to get them all home at the other end by taxi. Prepared to spend the night on Weston Beach as I had no other way of getting home and I had the car keys so DH couldn't drive down to get me.

Lovely coach driver said he would drive down slowly and if I found him before he's pulled into the main traffic he would stop for us. Luckily I found Dad waiting in the wrong place at the last minute and leapt in front of the coach, then he had the cheek to think it was funny!! DD was sobbing her heart out at the thought of mummy being left behind, Mum was upset and I had put all the weight of the world on my 12 year old Aspie son!

I am never, ever letting them come on a day trip with me again.

Now I am about to make lunch for tomorrow and get a reasonably early night as I have to be on the train for 8.25am

It's a short form for Aspergers Syndrome. It's a type of high functioning autism. We're very lucky with CJ, we've worked so hard with him and now most people don't even know he's got it.

    Hi everyone

Sorry, I haven't been around for a while - the lack of sleep caught up with me. While I managed to get to w*** and do full days, as soon as I got home yesterday and on Monday I went straight to bed - I woke up a few times but mostly I slept. I am still wrecked, could sleep for a week. Luckily I have tomorrow off - hurray! I'm a bit anaemic and am taking iron tablets, so I should be OK in the longer term.

It has been busy here in Old Style - there have been record-breaking numbers of posts on the daily thread. My head is still a bit spaced (IYKWIM) so virtually everything has gone in one ear and right out the other. I have remembered you Elona, and that you very recently lost your father. The hospice did what they are so good at and gave him peace and comfort in his last days. That is a mercy and a blessing for him. I am sure your family is looking after each other, but big hugs to you anyway.

    *******************

My flylady efforts have gone t*ts up for the past few days. Back to living in squalor (or near enough anyway). The wm is spinning a new supply of undies for me - am going to have to wear some silly frilly ones tomorrow while the comfy M&S ones drip dry in the kitchen.

That interesting fact Lillibet made me laugh out loud. Poor Squeaky and MATH are probably wetting themselves with so many admitting to being possessed by the PMT monster. At least we can laugh about it even if it's not so funny at the time.

My day off....oh I am so going to have to make a Weetabix cake. In fact, I have now purchased three little boxes of Weetabix for this exact purpose. Unfortunately I keep eating them, so will have to make a final purchase tomorrow and make the cake right away. I ate the last of my batch of blueberry muffins this evening. They were gorgeous...will make some more soon and freeze them.

My blinds are going to be fitted on Friday:j:j. That's two years with makeshift curtains in this house - what a disgrace! I've got to go and get curtain poles and/or tracks for each and every window, then I've got to get someone in to put them up. I'd do it myself but the same person will be invited to put up my shower screen (been sat in a corner for two years!), put up bathroom fittings (still in the shop!!) - I may as well get him or her a decent length list of things to do while they are here. Actually, BargainRzl have you got the number for Totty the Builders??:rotfl::rotfl:

I've got some PMs to answer..I am so behind with absolutely everything at the moment - forgive me that I haven't answered, I need to be awake when I do so, and I promise I'll do it soon. I'm wilting fast now, could do with being in my bed, but the rubbish goes tomorrow early so I'm going to do a 27 fling boogie in at least three rooms before I go to the land of nod.

    Bye all

PS - please say a little prayer for the Yorkshire Terrier doggy I saw this morning - he had been killed on the road - the poor little thing.

What a day! I'm really sorry about the 'wobbly' I had earlier. I'm convinced it must be PMT for me too, but it doesn't allways 'show' IYKWIM. I've been talking 'gibberish' all day, falling over my words and such like :o
Luckily the doc has given me some sleeping tabs to help reset my bodyclock - but TBH by the time I left I think he was ready to send for the whitecoated men :p
I'm really looking forward to my day with moggins tomorrow - even if I am going to get a good kick up the derrier (yes, I know I need it!)

THANK YOU everyone for all your kind reassurances - I was nearly in tears... and not just because I'm nursing a burnt wrist (caught it on the edge of the bread pan as I was taking it out OUCH!!!)

Churchmouse - your DH would love me today ..... I've just made about 50 welsh cakes!!! :p

Hope everyone is well, I'll catch up with you all again soon.
Again - thank you for all the hugs and reassurances, you are a wonderfull bunch.

At that point I will love you and leave you, chicken wraps are made for tomorrow, pasta is cooked for the tuna salad and I am about to peel 6 hard boiled eggs. After that I will collapse into bed and pray that I wake up at 6am tomorrow. If I don't then getting that train may be a close thing :D

    Goodmorning/night everybody,

What a little bunch of chatterboxes you are. It's taken me ages to read through the thread. :naughty:

Lillibet I knew I should have read your post earlier. I could have doused DH with petrol just before he left. :D

Snowy I'm going to make the weetabix cake today if I have time as well. I hate seeing animals on the road killed. Prayer said. Talking about animals my dogs are filthly. One is red when he should be white. :D I will sort them out tomorrow.

Kaz I think we are all a bit guilty of how you felt. Sometimes what we try and put across it may look a bit short in a typed situation. Anyway, hope you enjoy your day with Moggins.

Elona How did it all go? Thinking of you.

Well I better make tracks. I'm going offline NOW  as I have so much to do today. I've got a pile of emails I could browse at but I'm not bothering until much much later. Hope you all a good nights sleep. I hoped you enjoyed wearing frillys to work Snowy. I had you pegged for a thong gal myself. :D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
