I can't work out why the Soap+Glory gift creates such hype...says me who got caught up in the hype and bought it too (did the same last year). The thread on Grabbit is now 86 pages long and check out this pic of a man carrying 2 of them in the snow.

I mean it's a nice gift but there are plenty of things that are nice gifts, I just don't understand it.

You know I'm always reminding myself of that and it's so true but I'm finding it difficult to do things differently just now. Being snowbound is making me isloated, I've been on my own too much all weekend and it's not good for me.

The positivity will be back at some point soon:)

Okay. I know what you mean about being on your own. I LOVE my own company but need to see friends a lot too or I start to go a bit stir crazy. Is it the snow that's stopped you seeing people this weekend?

Ya, can't drive anywhere, roads are too dangerous especially when such journeys aren't strictly necessary.

Will you get to work tomorrow? Main roads and motorways here are OK so I should get in - need to as I have so much to get done before the Christmas hols!

I can get to work if public transport is operating, it's not that far. I live in the suburbs and work near the city centre. It's over an hours drive to my mother's though and that's out the country where the roads are worse. Everyone is snowbound there too. It's almost a week to Christmas so hoping it'll thaw a bit so I can get home.

maybe they were more into the idea of being on a tele programme, than they were about changing their behaviour. You have to want to change before you can be equipped with strategies to change

Just popping on to say that I am still reading and you're not alone in feeling isolated at this time of year. I do too even though I live with my 6 year old! I find the snow dreadfully depressing. I don't think it helps that we are expected to feel happy at this time of year but sometimes it's xmas that can make us feel more miserable. Although I enjoy xmas I far prefer New Year - New Year = New Start.
