Went to the shops today and only spent a very MSE €18. I got a Soap+Glory tin with hand and foot products- wanted the tin as a storage box for €10. Went to the €2 shop for an iPhone cover- I'm almost certain the same thing would be nearer to €20 in the Apple shop so very happy with that and €6 for my lunch (a large hot chocolate and a pannini).

The shelves in Boots weren't as full as I'd like for the upcoming 75% sale and I need to wait for 75% and final clearance sales on clothes.

Still at my mothers and posting from the iphone, will start the new diary when I'm back on the normal computer in January.

Errr ... didn't do as well as you on the shopping front. But I had allocated the money for a guilt free spend :j And I bought my sister-in-law and niece their birthday presents so feel very organised

Not much more done round here - taking it easy and enjoying the last few days of 2010 with planning taking place for a bright and wonderous 2011!

Thanks guys and Happy New Year to everyone.

I'm back in my own house tonight and back at work tomorrow.

My mother was rather upset when I was leaving today, she's gotten a bit too used to me being there all the time over the holidays. She brought me for coffee and scones at the lovely local cafe this morning as it was my last morning home which was really, really lovely. Actually she's been paying for everything over Christmas, she rarely lets me pay for anything. I live only about an hours drive away and I almost always visit and stay over at the weekends so no reason for her to be upset but everyone seems to be a bit emotional this time of year.

Busy for next few days catching up on post Christmas jobs, no major resolutions as such, just to continue with my categories from this diary which seems to involve constantly trying to improve on just about everything:rotfl:

Did some surveys again today for the first time since before Christmas.

Will get the 2011 diary started later this week hopefully:)
