Afternoon all - haven't been on mse in ages! Currently full of flu but remembered that I still had the £162 to pay offf the mtge, so have just done that via online banking. Theoretically that means a balance of £92k exactly, but I'm sure it won't be - I think the interest is calculated on a different day to when I do it on my s/s - still, near enough to be very happy wit the result

I will get back into this next year - and catch up with everyone's diaries. In the meantime, I hope you all had a great Christmas and I wish you all a fantastic new year

Morning all!!

Have just made an OP of £500 to sub acc 02 and the regular monthly OP of £421.84 went through at the beginning of the month - not a bad start to 2011 Our OP target for the year is £5000 (that's as a bottom line - I'd really like 6k)

Hubby doesn't have any work at the mo. Has an interview on Weds, but isn't hopeful. He's in deep depression at the moment - proper clinical stuff. Thankfully not suicidal (yet(?))

I had the awful flu bug and still have a lingering cough. Was made worse by anaemia, but have been taking iron tablets (urgh - but I'm not good at absorbing iron from my diet or supplements such as floradix/ spatone, so have had to give in) so am feeling a bit better

Need to sort out online banking and get the Xmas cc bills paid (eek!!). Also need to pay hubbys £13.5k tax bill :eek::eek: - will try and do that this week, and then I know that all money left is ours Want to pay another £550 OP if I can....

Will start to catch up on diaries this week - am catching up on life at the mo!

Afternoon all. Have just made another OP to the mortgage - total OPs for Jan = £1521.84 OH still hasn't got any work, though On the bright side the mtge is under 90k now (according to my s/s - I need my mtge stmt (will arrive sometime in Feb - wish C&G would get into the 21st century and let you look online!!) so a big yeay! My stretch target to achieve that was by end of Feb (non-stretch target end of April) - so am a happy lass

Grr! Have just noticed that anpther £50 would knock another month off the term - but really can't afford that this month. Motivation for ebay... I need a FLW to list some big items!!!

Sorry to hear that DH isn`t doing too well, hope that he finds some work soon and everything gets back to normal for you. Our statement is due too although by the time it gets here it will be out of date :rotfl: in a good way though.
