Just caught up with your thread. It sounds like you really need a bit of time out. I can't believe how little sleep you are coping on. As i get older it kills me getting up in the night with the kids, and i think being at home means that there is sometimes even more pressure to try and get everything done. And i only have two.
Hopefully it will start to seem a bit easier doing one less school run per day. Some schools seem to put an awful lot of pressure on parents to do a lot. My sisters little one just started in primary this September, and she seems to have an event of some sort every week and then all the extras like dressing up, harvest festival.
Moan on here as much as you want if it makes it seem easier.0 -
Another £150 OP today from sales at NCT
Takes another month off - now at 09/2017 - although that's only if rates stayed the same, as now part of our mtge is on SVR - which, of course, they won't do - so it's a 'fluid' end date right now
Few small sales (approx £10) on ebay, too, so when they've all paid I'll transfer that to the mortgage.

Back from Edinburgh - thoroughly enjoyable. Stayed in an aprtment which cost us about £10/ night more than a travelodge reoom would have (and we need 2 now there's 6 of us) and it had wifi, sat tv, ps2, dvds, cds, tvs in the bedrooms etc - was fab!! (Not that we really used any of that except wifi)
Journey there was fraught. DH was in Newcastle, so myself and 4 kids were going to Newcastle on the train - tickets/ seats booked in advance with railcard for £43.60. Left here with an hour to get to station/ park- about a 20min journey normally. Disaster struck less thgan 2 miles away -big accident - roads closed or gridlocked and we got to the station 5 mns after the (delayed) train had left - had to pay another £105 for more tickets and couldn't book seats
Anyway, eventually got to Newcastle and went shopping in Debenhams sale (ouch!) as it was close to the station. Dh came and got is and we stayed where he lives in the week and then went up to Edinburgh the next morning.
I loved it and we plan to go back next year - without the children if we can persuade m-i-l to move in for a long weekend
Have OP'd £471.84 this month - usual OP in DD and £50 so far for this month's tax credits (rounded up) Have 2 sales ending on ebay in an hour - that'll be a further £10. Not sure where else I can get some OP money from this month - have to re-jig finances as it is, I think. Want to get another £50 if I can, though.
Need to catch up on everyone's diaries - later, though - DS3 (17 months) has just taken a plate from the cupboard and walked over to his high chair - I think he's treying to tell me something!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Go you, that is a great achievement in overpayments this year. Edinburgh sounds lovely I haven't been there for a long time it is so beautiful. I am very envious of your sales that is a lot of hard work, you must be pleased.0
