    it appears that the bunkhouses etc want full payment on booking .... anyone got any ideas i can work with ? not everyone can afford to pay the full amount ... booger

    ok the new updated not to be messed with last one ever ever goes like this

    day one milngavie to drymen 12 miles (roughly 8 hours)
    day two drymen to rowardennan 15 miles (roughly 9 hours)
    day three rowardennan to inverannan 14 miles (roughly 10 hours) must be a hard day
    day four inverannan to tyndrum 12 miles (roughly 8 hours)
    day five tyndrum to inverornan 9 miles (roughly 6 hours)
    day six inverornan to kingshouse 10 miles (roughly 5 hours)
    day seven kingshouse to kinlochleven 9 miles (roughly 5 hours)
    day eight kinlochleven to fortwilliam 16 miles (roughly 8 hours)

    accomadation is going to be camping hostel bunkhouse wigwams ... have managed to get a few prices etc so if interested give me a shout

    right training was meant to start for me today i was meant to walk to chatelherault which is up and down and up and down ... more up though it wouldve been roughly 5 miles but it is 5 kinda hard miles ... anyhoo due to still not being as fit as i should be and coughing etc i cancelled and sorted out the accomadation etc ... however i plan on doing it this weekend maybe so thats a start ... i have other walks planned and hills as well if anyone is interested in joining on any training days let me know

    have managed to do the north calder heritage trail 10 miles ... chatelherault 7 miles all in 5 round and two get there and back ... now that was a hard walk and i will be doing it again often (if i can) as i think it will be better excercise for the whw ... next up is bothwell castle on wednesday followed by the lanark circular at the weekend ...

    so i am getting there slowly ...

    now that we are camping however i am having to recalculate budget .... it will probably cost us more to camp than b&b tbh ... as i will be buying a few things for the trip ... or i might look into hiring that is also an alternative


    anyone else wanna share?
