right training was meant to start for me today i was meant to walk to chatelherault which is up and down and up and down ... more up though it wouldve been roughly 5 miles but it is 5 kinda hard miles ... anyhoo due to still not being as fit as i should be and coughing etc i cancelled and sorted out the accomadation etc ... however i plan on doing it this weekend maybe so thats a start ... i have other walks planned and hills as well if anyone is interested in joining on any training days let me know0

have managed to do the north calder heritage trail 10 miles ... chatelherault 7 miles all in 5 round and two get there and back ... now that was a hard walk and i will be doing it again often (if i can) as i think it will be better excercise for the whw ... next up is bothwell castle on wednesday followed by the lanark circular at the weekend ...
so i am getting there slowly ...
now that we are camping however i am having to recalculate budget .... it will probably cost us more to camp than b&b tbh ... as i will be buying a few things for the trip ... or i might look into hiring that is also an alternative
anyone else wanna share?0
