I have still not done any exercise but the weight is coming off so I would be interested as long as it doesn't clash with my Uganda trip and as long as I get a bath each night!!

Hi El - I'm worried about the whole arthritis thing, tbh - I think I'm ducking out :( I know walking is low impact, compared to running, but some joints in my feet are in pain all the time even now - I do want to get fit, but I think it has to be *extremely* low impact, like swimming :( sorry El.

hi all ... i had written a big wordy thing for here but it got lost in cyber space ...

kc no worries about it chica you have to put your health first

ok here is the script so far
the walk has been divided into 6 days walking and as many nights as each person wants at fort william .... the reasons for this are namely money ,,, we looked at bunkhouses and youth hostels which worked out much cheaper than b&b (which was extortionate) the cost for the rooms comes to £101 with the bag carrying facility at £40 ( you can ofcourse carry your own bag) one breakfast is included in the price but no other meals so that has to be factored in as well

the date is officially may 29th 2011 at milngavie i will be booking things within the next two weeks so if you are going get in touch with me and we can arrange for things to move forward ...

run down of walk is this

day one milngavie to balmaha 20 miles
day two balmaha to rowardennan 7 miles
day three rowardennan to crainlarich 18 miles
day four crainlarich to bridge of orchy 13 miles
day five bridge of orchy to kinlochleven 21 miles (the longest walk)
day six kinlochleven to fortwilliam 14 miles

so thats it all official like ,,, let me know
