NPM...hope that you have had a great birthday!
We are having an ' English Wake' for DS2 who sets off on Monday to work in London...really feeling bad about this as he does not really want to go but his chances of staying with his company here are slim so he has really had to accept their offer to go to London....he is not really a city man so will miss the rolling hills of Wicklow and his dog and maybe even his Mammy! The wake bit comes from when young people went to America in times gone by they never returned so the party held before they went was referred to as a wake.
With current limited access I am missing most of what si going on and really feel bbad about it....miss knowing what's going on with my virtual family.
Hugs to all in need or wat for whatever reason, welcome to all newbies, seem to see new names every time I log in.
Os wise we are getting stuff potted in greenhouse, just hope that the weather holds without being too frosty for next month or so, went to the trouble of putting labels on all the stuff we started in propogator and then the condensation spoilt most of it, so will be interesting to see what comes out in the end.

Evening everyone
Another late one from me, got ds2 to bed about 30 mins ago he was very lively tonight, doesnt help when school gives him a chocolate bar and a whistle as a reward for his good behaviour at school this week. Weather here has been really horrid all day.
Not had much of an os day other than hm pasta salad for lunch & omlettes for tea. Went to tyre company t get them to mend my car tyre that had a puncture. A neighbour had put my spare on for me, but that made my other tyres look bad. Anyway I had to have 4 new tyres £250:eek:, then they showed me that my brakes & disc's need replacing( car is due to be looked at by a friend on monday so will get a second opinion). It will definately need coil replacing on Monday and they cost £46 each. Oh and I still have to tax it, think I will have to live out of my cupboards and freezer this next month.
