Mornin all
NPM - Happy Birthday! Hope you have a good day despite not having much cash to celebrate
Had a fair few swishy moments last night and this morning - bit frustrated I don't 'do' ill very well:rotfl:
I'm starting to really think I'm not going to make it back to work on Monday (and I really wanted to with the kick all being off school :rotfl:) so I suppose I better speak to my boss at some point today to prepare him for the fact too.
Still going away tomorrow night and looking forward to a nice hotel room with a shower!! (we only have a bath!) I thought if we check in early enough I can get a shower before we go out for dinner, then one before bed then another before we check out
We have some puff pastry and frankfurters to use up so a version of hotdog lattices will be lunch and I have to order a pizza for a MS job tonight so that will feature in dinner
Hope everyone has a good day x
PS Good luck for your DD julie 67Climbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Morning All
Happy birthday to NPM - have a great day with your tea party, and enjoy your pink champagne!:bdaycake:
Had a lovely night with my friends last night, and although a few glasses of wine were very tempting, I managed to refrain :rotfl:and drove home instead.
Today is going to be a busy one - I have stacks to do at work but am going to pop and get my fruit & veg for next week in my lunch hour, then it's jacket spuds with various fillings for tea - yummy! Then at home tonight I'll be doing the usual round of washing and starting a weekend of de-clutter :T Just hoping this PMA stays with me throughout the rest of the day or I'll be pooped by the time I get home
Hope everybody else has a good day too

:hello: Morning!
just popped on to wish NPM a happy birthday :bdaycake: Have a good day, and I know you'll enjoy your birthday meal because you'll be eating it with someone you love. i hope the clinic can sort out his headaches xx
oh and Bitsy your OH looks gorgeous now! Thanks for posting the link.
Going to the dental hygienist at 10.30. Cleaning my teeth is such a faff these days, what with using 2 different sizes of inter-dental brushes, and then having to floss where the brushes won't fit
All in a good cause though. Annoyingly DH, who has never flossed in his life, always gets congratulated by his dentist on how nice and clean his teeth are (mind you, I've got more teeth than he has
)
Then an early lunch, then we're going down to Faversham to see MIL who is still in the cottage hospital there having intensive physio as they are trying to get her walking again. She's getting so fed up, but at least she is well looked after, the food is good and the staff are lovely. She's been in there about 9 weeks now. DH's step-dad will be there too. The only good thing is that it's quicker to get to than Dover, where they live!
Also have to fit in a visit to the butcher's before we go, so quite busy! Will try to come back later. Hope everyone has a good day. Oh and WELCOME to stroppyjock (N9eav is a bloke, by the way) and our other new posters :hello:0 -
Morning peeps
weird the smilies seem to be coming and going this morning. Very windy here today and its cold too, where is all the nice sunny weather that i was looking forward to!
This morning i`ve emptied the slowcooker and portioned up the tomato dahl that was on overnight, made pilau rice to go with it and also made pizza bases ready to freeze.
Houndies are walked and sleeping, washing is hung outside and i could just go back to sleep, i didn`t sleep very well last night so all my energy has vanished, think i might try for a nap on the sofa before hopping in the shower. W*rk beckons later so i hope that i`m a bit better before then.
NPM - Have a smashing Birthday :bdaycake:
I`m off to fetch a quilt from upstairs, have a lovely day peeps.

Had my new crown fitted this morning by my serenading dentist Nathaniel, bless him he sings along with the radio whilst he is working on your choppers:D:D
Just going to have some tuna salad for lunch then its off again to History class this afternoon to learn about Whitehall and Downing Street.Thinking about that my local M.P. constituancy offices are above an accountants I wonder if there is a connection;)
Washing is on the line having a good blow,:j
back later I expect chums, might stick my nose into Aldi's before class as its just five minutes away from the centre where I go for history.just as well get full use of the petrol that I'm using to get to Gillingham with.

JackieG – Glad I helped. I frequently drop paperclips in my keyboard and it doesn’t half mess with the keys!
Joyfull – sounds like haircutting in my house!
BitsyBeans – seconded!
Well, our offer on the house was turned down. We won’t up it, unless they can prove that the central heating is functioning (highly unlikely!) so viewing another place tomorrow. This house is on the same estate and is identical, only it’s in much better condition.
OS for today (and the weekend, since I probably won’t get chance to post!) – make something to use up nearly out-of-date currants – probably eccles cakes or perhaps chelsea buns. Visit to the shops tomorrow to buy some food (always useful!), and hopefully some more crochet. Might even fit in some cross-stitch – been a while since I’ve manged that.
Love and hugs to all,
