Floss, your brownies will be OK 2-3days old, they actually taste better, but keep them in a sealed box in the fridge. The coffee cake I would say two nights before and the lemon drizzle the night before, I like it as fresh as possible. I often make brownies as much as five days ahead.

    HSbirthday_surprise_smiley.gif NPM,hope you have a lovely day,you deserve it.
Julie -hope things work out for DH,and DD

Not posted for a few days as have been too busy, and OTHER people have been hogging the laptop.Grr,it was meant to be mine, but gets used for FB with DSons as its faster :rotfl:

Our viewers came yesterday morning, seemed a really nice young couple with two littlies. They seemed to love the house, the only issue is they think the garden might be too small with having children,so I guess that'll be a no.I am not doing any housework today,I'm shattered, but have done the big shop and got a fair bit of meat reduced, some sirloin included ,so sizzling fajitas for tea.

DH went to see a chiropractor last week, and they did X-rays,as he has been having trouble with his neck and shoulders ,and feeling dizzy for the last 2 years, not had much joy from the docs.Turns out he's got a fair bit of degeneration in his spine, and 2 discs at the base of the neck especially are badly worn.Dont suppose theres much they can do about that but he is having some treatment, which has already made a difference, as it was affecting some nerves, and they want him to go to a posture class. We're having to pay,but its nice to see him a bit more cheerful instead of a grump.

Well,I may go and have an hour on my crochet blanket, decided to join what I've done so far, then see if I want it any bigger.I was doing it last night watching Marley and Me,bit of a weepie for all of us doggie people on here.

Hope you all have a good weekend x

    Hi again,

Well I've got lympoedema with erythema and peau d'orange (orange peel skin), sounds very attractive doesn't it - not. If it doesn't go in a month they will arrange for me to have it massaged :eek:. I think that warrants one of my very rare smilies. DH of course thinks it a great joke that I might have to have my breast massaged, I bet he wouldn't be so keen if it was one of his private bits.

I then went on to Milton Keynes and spent too much in M & S. I got a gorgeous top and dress for an Easter present for great neice and also treated myself to some flowers.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

    Afternoon all

Happy Birthday NPM :) Hope you have had a lovely day.

It's been quite wet here all day, but the sun is shining now.

I took DDs out today for a bit of retail therapy. A few new tops and docking stations for their ipods and they are happy. I'm exhausted mind :o

DDs have promised to straighten the kitchen for me. There's not much to do as it was done the other day.

I need to sort out some work for next week, for them, as we haven't got much done this week, due to illness. Both are feeling better, although it hasn't totally shifted. They want to go out for the day tomorrow, though, so hopefully they will be nearer 100% in the morning :)

Have a chicken cooking for tea, just need to make up some wedges now :)

It has been very hard work. He's still trying to lose a bit more still. It's been a long process (about 7 years in total) so no quick fixes.
Sadly for me I lost weight to get married and now having popped out a couple of kids am right back where I started in the very beginning
I vote for men to have the babies in future :rotfl:

Well done on your OH's hard work to lose weight, Bitsy :)

I remember the pre pregnancy days, and the pre medication days, and the pre wheelchair days :D

I'm eating bread pudding, and very nice it is too :D even if it does add another inch or so to the hips :)
