Morning all,
Hope everyone is well and enjoying waking up to beautiful sunshine
OH kindly gave me a £2 coin this morning, yay! Dad is on board too, when I mentioned it to him he said he already did it for his friend Stevie and always gives them to him.....I was like 'Dad, i'm your daughter'....he he :rotfl:He works away but is going to put them aside for me and give them to me when he sees me - exciting! Dad is great in helping me out.
I'm working, luckily from home today. Love knowing that come May my pay packet will be a few hundred £'s better off, it keeps me going and focused on why I am doing it. The sunshine will come back and I get to go out in it hopefully tomorrow on my day off.
It's payday for me on Thursday so I need to get budgeting and work out a plan of what I am going to do re weekly spending and so on. Pretty much there but just need to double check figures etc. I'm kinda excited and looking foward to the challenge!
Anyhow, best get back to some work now. Have a good day all x

Hey choc addict. I've subscribed to yours too - so will come by and see how you're doing.
I love saving £2 - we have £44 currently! Just a bummer when you pay for something with a £10 note and get £8 in change all in £2 coins! Still it helps build the pot up quicker I guess.

Morning choc!
Enjoy working at home. I am looking forward to a walk in the next hour or so!I hope you get to enjoy some other the weekend!!! I am unlucky in that i don't really get overtime with work and when i do i usually have to have it as time off to cover when the kids are on school hols etc! Need to start thinking about making money from home soon i think!
I am considering doing the £2 saving too.Bless your Dad. I couldn't get a penny out of my Dad. Even the mention of getting married didn't tempt him to offer anything. I don't expect huge gestures. I thought perhaps he could pay the £100 for a cake or something and my mum could do my dress. But he hasn't offered anything and my mum has offered to pay a £1000. Love my mum xx

Ahh, that's nice of your Mum and will be a great help i'm sure! Bored already working, but feel lucky that I can work from home today rather than commuting to the city....would hate that as it's 2hr + commute and would rather not!
Def do the £2 saving, I have £14 already and haven't really done anything different just lucky they came in the change I have been given - you could do it and use it towards your wedding cost??
Hope you enjoy your walk, i'm thinking of a long walk later on to wind down and get out of the flatx

Just back from an afternoon at OH's parents and their back garden
We live in at flat and no garden to enjoy the sunshine
.....not for long though, I really hope we move before the end of the summer, would love to be able to potter in the garden before the winter sets in - here's hoping!
Have been VERY good so far eating wise - hoping for a bit of salmon and salad or stir fry for dinner to just continue the good eating. OH and I spending the day together tomorrow so no doubt there may be a little badness food wise...although some exercise so will hopefully burn some of it off.
Nothing to report money wise today, probably not tommorrow either as out and about all day.....back to it Monday! Hoping to get a couple more £2's in change or something which will be good.
Now off for some serious couch chilling......bliss0 -
Hope you're having a great weekend
Oooh good to have your Dad helping you with the £2s, I've asked my Mum to save them if she gets any & I'll buy them off her, she said she'd given them milkman one this morningProud to be dealing with my debts - LBM Mar 2010

Hi Choc-addict, well done on the food front (I've eaten a complete load of junk this weekend). We used to live in a flat without a garden too, and I really did miss it, so hope your plans to get a new place happen. I spend most of my weekends just pottering in and out the garden when the weather is like this.
Enjoy your Sunday, Pen xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Morning lovelies
Another lovely sunny morning, I could get used to this
Hope you all enjoyed your weekends and managed to get out in the sunshine, it was beautiful and I throughly enjoyed every minute of it yesterday. OH and I went out for the day, bit ourdoorsy are we, and made the most of it. Needless to say i'm aching all over today - can hardly type this message but I see it as a good thing as clearly worked some muscles that i've not used in a long long time
Back to work today, feels as though i've never left as worked Saturday - ah well, need the pennies more than I do the sunshine right now I guess.
Nothing exciting to add today, feels boring in Choc world now and another boring week ahead. Aim this week is to up the exercise and healthy eating to really get my backside into gear, have a 10mile run at the end of October so now need to up my training for this and hopefully in the process tone up all those wobbly bits that have crept up on me through the winter.....although think eating 5 easter eggs in less than a week hasn't helped.....living up to my user name in true style :rotfl:OH still has all of his and they are teasing me on the kitchen side
Enough yappings from me as must work, have a lovely day all x0
