Hey Devon ladies
I'm going to try a bit of both - meal planning/batch cooking that way get variation but also if want something quick and easy can just go to the freezer and take out dinner I like. Planning on doing a lasagne this week too then have three options for meals i.e. pasta bake, lasagne or chilli and can have them with fresh salad or garlic bread, rices etc. Obviously not going to just live on these but knowing they are there in the freezer is helpful as OH works shifts so often cooking for one regularly - poor me0 -
Hi Choc-addict - doing well on the food front I see:T
DH is off work at the moment so he does all the cooking. I find if I write a list of the week's teas and put it on the front of the fridge on Sunday evenings he will follow it (even though he used to be the worse for popping in Tesco cos he couldn't be bothered to use the store cupboard). DS has been off will him this week and they've had a good time together trying to make different variations with the list, just to suprise me. Its nice to think they're getting into this now. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Ahh that's really nice Pen, how bless! It is always handy when others get involved. I've spoken to my two closest girly friends and they are def on board and surprisingly need to save money too and pay off debts - everyones in the same boat it seemsWe're challenging ourselves to healthy meals at each others rather than going out and also to go out for a night once a month but using money off vouchers
Very MSE - puts my mind at rest somewhat.

 hello choc
It's surprising how many people want or need to save money but don't really talk about it, I bet everyone was relieved when it was brought up
When the weather gets better you could for picnics too

Good luck getting that NSD choc! :T
Today i can easily make it an NSD! Only thing is i have had lunch and i am still hungry!!!! This is the only thing that may break me today! Maybe drinking a lot of tea will help! I have a banana but don't want to eat that too early!!
Glad you sorted some things with your friend! Suprising how many people either need to pay off debts or really need to save for something. My friends and I go out only 3 or 4 times a year and don't spend very much. Good luck with the nights inOrange Fairy

Evening!
Well i'm very impressed with myself today, heading for a nsd! Also did my exercise dvd at lunch and went for a run this evening, then sit ups and then a toning session with dumbells. Go me :j:j:j
Now i'm off for a big pint of orange squash....crawling to the kitchen :rotfl:
Oh and did I mention already done 2 litres of water - think the sunshine has done something weird to me0 -
Official, i'm not leaving the house tonight so therefore I have my second no spend day - woo hoo :T:T:j:j:T:T
Flaked on couch now with a cup of camomile tea to wind down before bed. OH has been caught up at work and no idea what time he'll get home, probably early hours......bed to myself
Hope everyone is having a lovely evening - more sunshine for the South East tomorrow :j0
