Sorry about the disappointing news on the house
You will just have to be patient!!
I can't wait to be able to buy our first house. Just hope we dont have to wait too long! We almost bought one on a shared ownership scheme just over a year ago but OH wasnt off the insolvency list from his IVA (he is now) and his Dads wage wasnt quite high enough when it finally went through with the application  Lost £500 'admin' fees too! Was a brand new 2 bed build. We had arranged that the ensuite be left out of the larger bedroom so the girls could share it and have a walk in wardrobe and in return for no paying out the bathroom fittings they were going to carpet it for us! I am a great believer of fate and the actually full price of the house was about 30k more than it should have been!!
I hope you enjoyed your walk in the sun....i'll be popping to the bank in a mo so will enjoy some then!!!Orange Fairy

Hi Choc, sorry to hear about the house delay. Moving is never simple! Congrats on your first NSD:j
Hope you enjoy your walk in the sunshine0 -
Thanks guys, guess i'll just have to keep focusing on the debts and let the house do what it has to do!
Littlekel - sounds like you had a bit of an escape not buying that place in the end. I'm sure with how organised you are at the mo you guys will be well on your way to your own home. We're very lucky in that OH's parents helped with deposit, we'd saved a nice sum ourselve and OH managed to get a reasonable mortgage on his own (would never get one with my credit rating!) and after all of this our mortgage repayments will actually be less than what we are paying in rent :j
Thanks maeeve - from what my friends tell me sometimes all you want to do is sit and do nothing when little one is asleep!!!
dawnie80 - def agree with you on it never being simple, I am trying my hardest to stay detached until it's actually 'ares' but it's never that easy is it....I keep logging on to see it on rightmove
Ah well, I can focus on other things for now and get on with my debt busting and weight loss....feeling rather good about it at the moment and the walk at lunch really helped!
Hope you guys all enjoy a lovely sunny afternoon0 -

Just realised that should have been 'ours'.....oops
Just been good and transferred odd £4.87 to my debt repayment fund, have a weird habit of rounding things
Off to update my totals :j0 -

Sorry about the house
Hey Moose, day going ok thanks....apart from the house stuff  Still EA said they are viewing another one this weekend so fingers crossed. What's weird is that they are moving to our area and we obviously there's - shame we're first time buyers or could have swapped instead!
Sadly working until 6ish....lots to finish off and then working Saturday. Overtime has been cancelled for Sun (:j) - shouldn't be jumping for joy but don't feel so bad when it is the office that cancel it rather than me not doing it if that makes sense?
Have a few hours to myself tonight before OH gets in from shift at 10pm, might try and go for a run to clear my head and wake up a little....or maybe not.....0 -
Hi Choc-addict, sorry to hear about the house but it will all work itself out in the end x
So are you off for the run or did something better come up?This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Chip shop or run? I know which one I'd choose and I don't need a pair of trainers for it!
EnjoyThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
