    Hey happy,

We're def enjoying the moment and more so when we do move but when talking about it we don't want to get into debt to do up/maintain the house and that's why we want to make sure we have a safety net of money to turn to if needs be - it's going to be fun saving for the 'doing up' of it to our own tastes and far more rewarding aswell :D

Keep looking at it online and the paper work we have dreaming - fingers crossed it all goes to plan - woo hoo :j

Choc, there is something nice and satisfying about doing things in your own house - its much better than renting. I'm thinking about doing a bit of painting over the next few weeks as our place hasn't seen a lick of paint for a few years now. Nothing too major though :)
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Yep Kel, def pleased that the appt has come through - good timing as going bananas with it now

Ok, working today in this lovely sunshine :( Think it just brings home that I want to get rid of this debt so I then have the 'option' as to whether or not I decide to work.

Been thinking about myself and realise that I am an all or nothing girl, in every sense so I need to try and change this lodgic. For instance, if I go on a diet I go for it, do really well for probably about two weeks and then it goes to pot as I can't sustain it. Same goes for money, and just about everything else in my life over the past ten years or so.

So for me it's going to have to be a mindset change to how I approach things and longer term plans rather than quick fixes that actually don't achieve anything.

Obviously i've done well on debts, luckily getting some interest frozen or reduced and reduced payments too. However, looking at my debts some of my reduced payments are now reaching that margin where perhaps they are equal or more than (by a few pence) to what the normal minimum payment would be for the CC - therefore I envisage, as have many others, that the companies will in turn go back to normal action with minimum pay and interest payments - only fair as I can in theory afford the minimum payment (just!) at this moment, it's only a couple of them, the rest reduced payment agreement are well below the contractual payment and there is no way on this earth if they all reverted back that I could meet the min pays based upon my basic earnings. So I will cross that bridge, if and when it happens and obviously make these (if they do revert back to full interest) my priority in paying off asap and overpayments.

In the meanwhile i'm going to look at my spending habits more, why and when do I spend - by keeping the spending diary which seems to be working well. I know my main vice of money wasting is indeed adhoc food purchases and magazines and petrol as I live a good 70 mile round trip from my friends and family in Southampton.

Diet, well I think I start a diet every week or at least that i'm going to be good motto :o So, I am taking a new approach - i'm a healthy size 10/12 and should be proud of that. I do want to reach my target of 10st as know that this is where I sit happy and now just need to focus and do it. I know what I need to do and I only need to lose 8lbs, but I more so would prefer to be toned and fit so in turn I am going to up the exercise, healthy eating and just generally look after myself. I don't want to hit 40 and think just like I have turning 30....why on earth did I spend so much time worrying that I was fat when I wasn't!!! Did it through all of my 20s rarther than enjoying myself and actually wearing and dressing to flatter a fab figure back then :( So here's to looking and feeling fab and enjoying being 'me' for once :D

Hmmm, some things to be getting on with and think about over the weekend :p

Have a good one all, xxx
