I've signed up online last night! Took 3 attempts but got there in the end! Done the sensible thing and decline the OD and Credit card offer!!!

I have been a Nationwide customer for over 10 years, but I still had to show all the relevant ID when I opened my account.0 -
Neither did me....I applied two flexaccounts already.....never asked for any ID....0

They asked for ID from me when I applied for my credit card which surprised me as I had applied via logging into my internet banking account with them as I currently have a mortgage with them....0 -
I don't think I'd be able to get a debit card from Nationwide, so what ATM network do their ATM cards use?
Want to know if it'd be easy to find an ATM that'd accept it whilst abroad......

I have used my Nationwide in multiple ATMs abroa and never had a problem. I think its accepted by all ATMs.0

It uses the cirrus network abroad. As Cirrus is part of Mastercard, you shouldn't have many problems finding an ATM, I know I havn't.
