I see quidco are offering £14 'for a PAYG handset in the easyMobile shop'. Will this cashback work if you buy the "free" Nokia 1101 with £20 credit from easymobile ?

just wondering. i purchased this sim purely to have a go at these gameshows like itv play where you ring a premium number. i went to ring itvplay last night and it began with a 09 number. when i rang it said something along the lines of calls to this number are barred! i am really dissapointed because its the only reason why i bought it! is there something i need to do to lift the bar, because looking at the easymobile website it says nothing about barring 09xx numbers.

has anyone else had success in dialling these kind of numbers?
I believe you have to activate roaming for 09 numbers to work.

As a general question does this 30 Sept expiry also refer to earlier deals ? or do they carry on with no expiry ?

If you login into your account you'll see a banner in the middle of the page 'international calls & roaming' click on it and follow the steps, should be quite simple.

oh no! i have just tried to activate roaming and was told to also activate auto top up in order to be able to activate roaming. i went to do this but it states that to activate auto top up it will debit at least £10.00 from the card to ensure that it the details are correct! i didnt want to spend any money, the whole idea was to use it for a laugh with these competitions

anyone have an idea as to how to do it without any cost involved?

Do promotions like this happen regularly? I'm going to swap over to EasyMobile, but I've got another few weeks of Orange left. Seems a shame to transfer and effective waste time that I've paid for with Orange...

    Thanks :)

Yes. They seem to bring out a new promotion immediately after the previous one closes. But the terms change each time.

The new expiry on free credit does not apply to previous customers, only on this new deal.

Ive emailed customer services to find out if this is the case - if not, I wont be happy!

I think this is only my fourth post, even though Ive been a regular forum user for the past 2 years!! - I really should make more effort, considering the amount of savings Ive made here!

I read somewhere (HotUKDeals, I believe) that the expiry date only applies to sims purchased after 2nd August.
