the current T&C couldnt be clearer. i think its better that everyone reads them for themselves. if someone here gives wrong advice etc...

better to read and understand them yourselves.

i for one have signed 5 members of my family up for easymobile. and i have taken screen dumps of all the T&C, which i am happy with.

The £5 admin fee is payable only if you want Easy to return some money that you've actually paid them. For example, if you used all your free bonuses on calls then bought a £10 top-up, used only £1 of it, and then wanted to leave there would be £9 of your own money left in your account ('cos you've already used all your free bonuses). Easy will pay you back £4, keeping £5 to cover their admin costs of the refund and closure ....... I think!

If you use, say, £8 of your £10 top up on calls, then there will be only £2 left in your account. If you ask for this to be paid back to you, Easy will first deduct their £5 admin cost, and then say "sorry, there's nothing left".

Is this right, or does anybody have other ideas?

that is exaclty what the current T&C mean. i have taken screen dumps to cover any future "hickups".

YOU know what the t&cs mean, and I know what they mean, but there seems to be a lot of people around who don't understand plain English and have difficulty in understanding simple statements ........ sad really, but now that care in the community is the norm you get all sorts of people posting !!!!!

If this is what you understand, why did you post earlier today 'If for any reason you wanted to stop using Easymobile PAYG service, you will have to pay back whatever free credit you obtained when you joined'.

Are you just trying to cause trouble for Easy Mobile? I don't know why you should, I've had no trouble with them and I find them very good and very, very cheap.

Perhaps you could clarify what you now understand - either they remove the free bonus credit, or they don't. Which is it - one of your posts must be wrong because they can't both be right!

I was with easymobile ages ago...they have now changed their T&C's in terms of removing the bonus credit. So for the record....

Easymobile no longer remove the bonus credit that they first give you when you sign up. They charge for non-usage (no other PAYG service that i know of does this) and also charge you to top-up unless you enable auto top-up (explained in other easymobile threads on MSE).

Easymobile DEFINITELY do not remove bonuses!

I have previously telephoned customer services and specifically asked about this.

There is a £5 admin fee to close the account if you want them to return your own unused credit. They will not return unused bonuses as it has no cash value.

Best to close with zero balance. also you can remove the overdraft facility by chatting to customer services online or on phone

Hope that helps and clarifies the issues.....

Not sure but i suspect its quidco

quidco offer minimum of £8 cashback
and up to £19 maximum (depending on how much sales they have per month)

I'd be surprised rpoints beat that

Went to have a look and noticed the Orange dispute, how comical is that! :rotfl:

Does anyone have an online account, & how good is it for keeping track of your mobile usage & credit ect? Does it have anything that makes it stand out from the rest?

    Cheers

Yes, we all (5 of us!) have an online account and it's pretty good. OK, calls sometimes take a few hours to be showing on the account (saame as other providers??) but everything is visible that you'd want to be.

Does it have anything that makes it stand out from the rest? If you mean the online account thingy, probably not, but if you mean the service as a whole, oh yes.....LOADS OF FREE CREDIT, LOADS OF FREE REFERRAL CREDIT (as long as an existing customer gives you their easymobile number to use on sign-up) and TOTALLY FREE CALLS/TEXTS DAYS (the next one is tomorrow but they happen regularly).

PS I GENUINELY can't believe the people who knock easymobile! What do these people want, exactly? Blood?

This is EASILY the best mobile deal out there IMHO. I was going to say it's a bit of a no-brainer but clearly it isn't...:rotfl:
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
