Nervous about having a boy!

Thanks for all the reassurance. It has been lovely reading the accounts of your childrens' characters. I'm no longer worried about having a boy....I am a bit worried about my dd becoming a teenager though :rotfl:0

I have 8 children.. 5 girls and 3 boys.. After my third boy I said I was not having any more boys and had the 3 girls.. the boys are horrible, smelly, rude, destructive, ignorant, messy, cheeky, difficult and such hard work!! The girls are a delight.. most of the time.. we do have screaming and drama queening but nothing half as vulgar as the boys dole out!!
If I could have chosen I'd have had 8 girls and had any of the 3 little ones been boys I was absolutely not bringing them home from the hospital!!!
Gosh I hope this is a joke
I've got one DS and two DDs and when they were younger there was no contest as to who was the more loving and thoughtful - it was my son every time. However, now they've grown and left home, I only see my son about once a month and he only lives about 10 miles away.
On the other hand, I see both DDs almost every day and the elder one shops with me a couple of times a week, saying she'd rather go out with me than her friends.
The old saying often proves to be true - a son is a son till he takes him a wife, a daughter's a daughter for all of her life.
Whatever you have I'm sure you'll love them and wouldn't swap him or her for anything (well, most of us feel that way - not all apparently).I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Me too now!
(And I've got two of them, 17 months apart )"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0
