Carb free day was yuck, had massive head-ache, indigestion and stomach cramps all from one day I know unbelievable but eating veg and meat surely that is the atkins diet and you know what the side effects are from that well in one day I felt awful, the next day so awful all the customers and even my supervisor told me to go home, I looked ghastly and should be at home.

I never went home, completed the shift but OMG since 04.45 am when I woke with the most incredible stomach pains all day long I felt awful but still turned up for work, just never smiled much:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It really sound OTT for the symptoms for one day but it was just like that and if she asked me to repeat it to test the diabetes again I would firmly say no, atkins you can keep it:D

Hey guys, what a gorgeous day its been. Spent alot of it at whitstable where there was a nice breeze. I definatly have colouration now, i have three more days of tanning before barcelona now!! Tense times.

I wont comment on the england match, only to say that beckham is one total fine piece of man. He never used to be, but he is now. It was the highlight of the match, and the moment when we walked out of the sweaty pub as the 4th goal was scored!!

bbq sounds lovely guys, i might pop round next time :p

ok i am now officially !!!!ing !!!!ed off :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

last week i lost a !!!!!! 1.0lb even thou i had a calorie deficit of 13.500 cals ..... thats 3.8lbs, ok I put that down to the stress of the angiogram and probably retaining water

this week i have trained like a nutter, running 25 miles (immense for me, and this is the first week i have trained for 2 months because of my AF) and creating a deficit of 23,700 calc thats 6.8lbs plus there should be 2.5lbs that was missing from last week (as i shed the fluid)

and this week i have only lost what i had !!!!ing missing from last week

    after a supreme effort 7lbs should have !!!!ing gone and i am !!!!ing furious, !!!!ed off, !!!!ing !!!!ed off !!!! !!!!!!! !!!! !!!! !!!!!! !!!! !!!!!!!! !!!!

you could say that, i bust myself to pieces over the weekend, the pain i was in yesterday after tracking 6 miles over hills meant i spent the last 30 mins dragging myself home in agony, 1600 cals in one session for someone my size is immense...

and to have this happen :mad::mad::mad::mad:

not even the joy of watching england being annihilated and proving my pre cup prediction that they where pathetic coming 100% true brings me any solace :(

Vix Beckham only looks good until he opens his mouth then that girly stupid voice comes out.

As for the match. I predicted a 4-2 for germany, and got it right even tho the referees didn't :)

But hopefully now, we can enjoy the rest of the world cup without the commentators going on about 19bloody66 all the time, and how world class England are.

So now looking forward to a nice peaceful last half to the World Cup. No offence guys, if it wasn't for those commentators, there wouldn't be so much bad feeling flying around between the scots and the english :)

I'm devastated England are out (tho we deserve to be) but at least now I can have my life back and not have it ruled by when England are playing. Couldn't watch yesterday, had to taxi DD around all afternoon, spent the rest of the time in the kitchen cleaning the oven, so something useful came out of my afternoon anyway! :D

victory - your bbq sounded wonderful, some great tips there for when we get around to having one!

eric - what can I say? you know how it goes though dont you? one week good, one week bad, one week so-so, then it all goes good again. That's the dieters lot in life, its not a lot, but its our life!! :D (courtesy of Bugs Life). Don't give up on yourself, or us, if only cos we'll miss your offers of free bra fittings!!

I survived the bbq! not a bread roll in sight for me! :T

Actually for the first time looking forward to WI on weds rather than dreading it!

Aiming to do at least 30 mins of exercise per day - at home, in the gym, walking to the shops, whatever, as exercise seems to keep my appetite in control.

I'm a bit worried about TOTM putting a spanner in the works soon, but I have an amazing new Muller light with black cherry and dark choc pieces in vanilla yoghurt that should satisfy my cravings. yum!

Eric - don't beat yourself up about 2 weeks of small losses. they are still losses. It's only 2 weeks after all and who knows what might be causing it?
It might be that it's all going to suddenly drop off in a few weeks time.
Or that amount of excercise could be causing your muscles to increase in mass (and weight)!
Just because the maths makes sense doesn't mean your body, muscles, hormones etc will pay attention.
So long as you stay on track things will pick up. And don't stress out about it as the stressful feelings coupled with all that exercise might have made your body panic and hold on to what it's got for a couple of weeks.

No, there is no way I could take solace from England being out of the world cup, trying to avoid papers and news to keep seeing it but it is impossible:D
