Totally agree with you on that one victory!!!

My youngest is always asking how so and so can afford blah. How to explain to a child that their father is a waste of space and doesn't work to support them. Yet so and so is a single parent, who's father is living with them and can afford everything

Would still rather be where I am now working my balls off for my kids than a single parent on benefits. At least I got a wee bit of pride, and the kids respect that eventually

Note to self: must do more and eat less than yesterday. Neither would be difficult.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Hi all

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

Has anybody tried this? I'm expecting to be told it's a waste of time and money, but just wondered if anyone has any experience of it, and whether it made any difference.

Didn't read it all LL but it looks a bit cranky to me, avoid like the proverbial, these people pray on your insecurities by promising a quick fix. It's a wonder they haven't said "featured on Oprah" like all the other scams in the world!! :D

Good luck Vix - I was supposed to do it last year but I went on holiday instead! You'll probably find that you'll be carried along by the event and the adrenaline will kick in anyway!! :D:D

Go for it Vix! If you do a bit of training, you should be able to run some / walk some on the day! :D I couldn't run half a mile when I first started either.

It's been a good week here, I had my 40th birthday, wasn't planning on indulging but lots of yummy food magically arrived at my house so I certainly wasn't going to waste it :p. Probably gained a bit so will have to be ultra good the next 2 weeks before weigh in.

I completed a marathon distance (42.2km) on inline skates which was one of my major targets, and obviously still doing the usual running, cycling, swimming, diving, hiking :).

Good luck next week everyone! :D

vix do you have to run all of it?:D

Guess what another 100% score on my module for health care assistant no 4:j:j when I handed in no 5 and joked I would get 100% he said I shouldn't get ahead of myself and not to be so cocky:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: so that is100/ 80/the third one he upped it to 90 because I did get one more right he just marked it wrong and 100:j only 5 more to go, oh and 50 Q&A for part A and same for part b, nearly there:rotfl::D

The talk of the work this week is no over time, so if that applies to me not taking over the others shift whilst they are on their hols that means me off, wait to qualify and off because just the little hours I got were fine plus the bonus of earning more while they went off on their hols, if that has gone not worth it will have to look about:D

Eldest so far has got his own dinner and put his washing in, cleaned up his room, had his showers, tidied up kitchen, got his own school stuff ready, still refusing to speak, pick his brother up from school tomorrow (no hardship, it is on his way home) and said he is not coming to his birthday party next wednesday is going to go out with his mate paint balling instead, so good comes and the bad comes and the rows go on:D

You know in all this not once have comforted eaten as there is no comfort in it or binged (I am really working out the binging, it is not the need for excess food just sometimes bread and meat, more than I get, more than I need, I want it so now I really am practicing that I can have 2 slices and need no more, it is so hard but either that or I tell myself there are only 2 slices in the house) I am really trying to see food in a different light and it is not easy by far but I am determined to keep on trying, I am easier on myself on a sunday but that used to send me into a depression on a monday that I could not have what I had yesterday but if you change the mind set that sunday was lovely but no need to eat like that every day and there will always be another sunday it gets easier to bear:D
