Thanks for that, must have misunderstood, I felt that he was after my bank details and then cleans me out:D just very nervous of him and what he keeps saying that he does not have paypal, he does not have a chq book the only way he can pay is via my bank account

All they need if they are in the UK is your bank account number and your sort code. And before you panic about giving out this information don't forget that they are both on every cheque you have ever written! You are quite safe - just don't give them your pin number:rotfl:!

Oops, I never got round to posting my 2.2lb loss. Hopefully I can be a bit more focussed this week and get well on my way to the first half stone....

Well done to the joint SOTW and thanks Fred for the chart.

I've added this ready for next weeks chart - thanks for posting it.
pepop --was it you who was going to be coun ting the votes last night? I always fancied doing that, especially in a constituency without a safe majority. Hope you had a good night andmanaged to stick to the healty snacks you planned.

It was me, had a very poor day food wise in that I didn't eat nearly enough - had a bacon roll in the morning and felt really podged so hardly ate any lunch, had dinner before I went to the count and didn't eat anything else (other than 2 boiled mint sweets) as was very busy all night. Got home around 5.15 am - thankfully no recounts last night for either of the 2 seats being counted where I was. Was good fun though and will hopefully do it again.

thanks for all your hard work in producing the chart frederica-its well appreciated.

i had my day of gluttony and couldnt resist a controlled weigh in at the gym and i have lost 1,4kgs since wednesday!!i must eat more and more often!i have 25 minutes left of my eating day --2 slices of wholemeal and soup--to hit 1240 calories--feeling much less iritable --the carbs in pasta seem to give me initial headache after consumption--whys that?
My workout was brimming with energy and i hit all my targets comfortably--the day was odd after spending the night watching the election, despite not living in the uk it affects me as much as the next person--not a good day for my investments but i just want one of these parties to make the necessary actions to solve this deficite--i think if we leave it much longer it will be uncontrollable and back to the 70s---after the last hung parliament!

retiredlady so what do I do? Just give him the sort code? the account number? Via email? Is that safe or via ebay? I have opened up an unpaid item dispute already because he keeps bothering me with his what he can't do, one thing he hasn't done is pay me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I back retiredlady with what she says - it's perfectly safe to give your account number and sort code to a customer. They can't do anything with those details unless they have a lot more info about you, it's quicker and easier than Paypal, and you don't get charged a fee - win, win for both buyer and seller.

Victory - perhaps in the future you an include in your listing that you only accept payment via paypal, so not to bid if you do not have an account. You can do this - I have seen it.

It states in the listing quite clearly paypal only paypal but he is only on 1 and has started to mess me around, not once did he mention he had not got a paypal account until he bid and won and then all this palava:D

He has gone underground all day not a peep since I opened the non paying bidder dispute, nothing so we shall see, offered it to the second chance bidder but she has bid and won some other tickets and said no thank you.:D

Can life get any worse? I have lost £200, in the kitchen cupboard to pay the annual tax bill, had the house, the bin upside down, everyone has been looking but now OH and son refuse to budge as it has been 3 hours since we tried to find it and no luck, the crazy thing is I can see it but it is not there and we need the money to get the tax, best have a rest and take it up again after coronation street:D
