    Thinking of you Sandy.

Pigpen - You life is a more colourful version of mine.

AJ Money - So sad. I'm sure your support was appreciated.

I've just had a horriffic parent consultation with DS1's teacher. DS1 was being sullen and difficult and I told him to look at the teacher who was talking to him. DS then punched me in the arm, I walked out to burst into tears in the corridor. DH was horrified at what he heard in the ongoing meeting and has bawled out DS1 who has now gone off in the strop. Sadly it's all too late to stop him failing all his GCSE because he CBA to work.

Going to declutter a huge bar of chocolate to cheer myself up.

sandy - hope your hospital trip went ok ((hugs))
sexymouse - sorry to hear about MIl fall, sounds nasty
holly and other poorlies - hope you feel better soon

Sorry if I've forgotten anyone, was doing that from memory. Hope everyone else ok :)

Bizarre day here with sun, rain, howling gales all at once it seems. Beats the thunder, lightning and hailstones last night though! My front door and step is a right state, all mud splatters from the planters that were annihilated by the hail.

Day going ok, have done 2 washes and got one out on the airer, tidied a massive hot spot in the kitchen, done a load of filing, done a couple of letters, tidied bombsite of kitchen. A friend popped in for lunch , did jackets with beans and cheese mmmm first proper lunch Ive had in about 3 weeks.

DS has been having loads of meltdowns over the last few days so I've kept him off school today. He's been very good and just watched telly and played on his DS all day. I think he's just exhausted, end of term etc. We spent some time doing lego earlier, and he did some puzzles with DD2 so that kept her busy for a bit too.

Got to go to school in a bit for DD1, then feed them early as .....

I AM HAVING A SPA EVENING HURRRRAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!

Husband is cominjg home a wee bit early so I can escape and meet my friend there. Got no treatments booked but we will have a nice tea and chat and they have a massive spa pool, jacuzzi, steam etc etc (Berks locals will know it - Nirvana ? - its about 5 mins drive from my house :T)

Oh and on another note -

do the clocks go forward tomorrow night ??

Had a wonderful time in the back garden - it is nearly all done just need to:

    Plant iris
    Moved Hydrangea Edith
    PPM
    Plant out euphorbia

Then I need to start the front - it just started to rain at the end, back lawn cut but not the front.

    Yes!!

I just found this on viewlondon.co.uk

"Don’t forget to set your clocks forward by one hour on Sunday 28th March 2010, officially the start of British Summer Time. "

    Thanks for the reminder, Jill.:o

I've just been rained off my gardening :( I have planted seeds, weeded polytunnel, and admired all the daffodils :)

Looks like the lawn will need cutting soon - DD is keen to do it as we've offered to pay her (I hate it - just like hoovering outside :rotfl: ) and she needs all the cash she can. I wrote a cheque on her behalf this morning for £200 for Leeds Fest

    HHI about to start :D

Oh Jill, I'm soooo jealous - I have been there a couple of times and it's fantastic. Last time when I was pg with DS I went in the salt pool (don't remember the posh name for it) - it was amazing. I was floating around gently, it was dark in the room but they had some star lights shining and I really felt at one with the baby - he was kicking away at the time!!!

ajmoney, so sorry to hear about your friend's horse, and what a shock when s/he was only 6. What you did for her was lovely.

Sandy, hope your appointment was OK - I said a prayer for you at 11, 11.30 and 11.50 ((((hugs)))).

Mumof5, so sorry to hear about your difficult school meeting; children are so hard sometimes aren't they ((((hugs))))

DH away overnight and will be back tomorrow afternoon some time so I have to take DS with me and DD to her ballet lesson and then straight on to DD's school disco - better take some paracetamol now I think!!! Made a fresh loaf of bread so we can have some sandwiches as no time for proper tea. DD is upstairs now choosing some probably sequinned dress to wear; she's very excited bless her!
